Here is the weekly review of the top performing Belarusian players, who play currently abroad.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Eurocup). He contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Panionios (0-3) crushing them 92-72 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Veremeenko scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 28 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Unics Kazan (3-0) is placed first in the Eurocup. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Veremeenko's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 9.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 45.0% and FT: 76.9% in the three games he played so far. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He played for the Belarusian senior national team five years ago.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#2. Second place goes to an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. Parakhouski could not help Olin Edirne (2-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Olin Edirne was defeated 72-66 at home by the second-ranked Anadolu Efes. Parakhouski was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 rebounds. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Parakhouski has relatively good stats this year: 10.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 65.3%(32-49) and FT: 46.7%. He is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Mikita Meshcharakou
Mikita Meshcharakou
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy). Meshcharakou was not able to help AcegasAps TR (4-4) in their game against Biancoblu BO (6-1) in the Italian Lega2 (second division). He scored 8 points in 23 minutes. AcegasAps TR lost 70-78 on the road to the second-ranked Biancoblu BO. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Meshcharakou's first year with the team. This season Meshcharakou's overall stats are: 8.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 2FGP: 37.0%, 3FGP: 26.3% and FT: 85.7% in the eight games. He is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Aleh Kojenets
Aleh Kojenets
#4. An experienced center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington, currently plays in Lithuania) led Mazeikiai to an easy victory against the league outsider Gargzdai-Bremena (2-12) crushing them 73-46 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) in Friday night's game. Kojenets recorded 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Mazeikiai (10-5) is placed second in the NKL. This season Kojenets has relatively solid stats: 11.6ppg and 3.7rpg. He used to play for the Belarusian national team back in 2009.

The list of other players, who all have Belarusian passport but never been selected to any of Belarusian national teams:

#1. Yurchyk scored 6 points in only 8 minutes. BC Nizhny Novgorod (4-2) is placed fifth in group B. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Yurchyk averages only 2.0ppg in the five games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian.

#2. Igor Suhinin led Rjazan to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Volgograd (1-7) 78-74 in the Russian Superleague (second division) on Friday night. Suhinin scored 11 points. BC Rjazan (4-4) is placed ninth in the Superleague. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Suhinin's first season with the team.
