Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Belarusians who are currently playing abroad.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in VTB United League). He contributed to an Unics Kazan's victory against the closely-ranked Krasnie Krilya (4-3) 69-56 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. Veremeenko recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 18 minutes on the court. Unics Kazan (5-2) is placed third in group A. It's Veremeenko's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 8.6ppg, 4.7rpg, 2FGP: 63.9%(23-36) and FT: 82.4% in the seven games he played so far. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He played for the Belarusian senior national team five years ago.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#2. Second place goes to an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. Parakhouski could not help Olin Edirne (2-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Olin Edirne was edged 81-78 on the road by the higher-ranked Turk Telekom (#9). Parakhouski recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 16 rebounds. He also added 6 blocks. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Parakhouski's first year with the team. Parakhouski is currently second on the league's list of best blockers. He has very reliable stats this season: 10.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.3apg, 1.6bpg, 2FGP: 65.5%(36-55) and FT: 44.0%. Parakhouski is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Mikita Meshcharakou
Mikita Meshcharakou
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy). He led AcegasAps TR to an easy victory against the third-ranked Sigma Barcellona (6-3) 76-61 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) on Sunday night. Meshcharakou scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. Acegas Aps Trieste (5-4) is placed eighth in the Lega2. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Meshcharakou's overall stats are: 8.9ppg, 3.8rpg, 2FGP: 37.1%, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 88.9% in the nine games. He is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Dante Stiggers
Dante Stiggers
#4. Point guard Dante Stiggers (188-82, college: S.Mississippi, currently plays in Cyprus) was the major contributor in Apoel's victory against the closely-ranked AEK (3-3) 56-54 in the Cypriot Division A in Sunday night's game. Stiggers scored 10 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (4-2) is placed second in the Division A. Stiggers is currently third on the list of best passers and also on the list of most steals (first place). His total stats this season are: 9.4ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.4apg and 2.6spg. Stiggers is a naturalized American. He is also Belarusian national team player. Stiggers used to play for BK Minsk-2006 in Belarusian league.

Aleh Kojenets
Aleh Kojenets
#5. An experienced former international center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington, currently plays in Lithuania) led Mazeikiai to a victory against the 12th-ranked Perlas-MRU (7-9) 72-59 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) in Friday night's game. Kojenets scored 11 points in a mere 17 minutes. Mazeikiai (12-4) is placed first in the NKL. Kojenets has relatively good stats this year: 11.4ppg and 3.5rpg in the 14 games. He used to play for the Belarusian national team three years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Belarusian passport but never been selected to any of Belarusian national teams:

#1. Valentin Yurchyk (207-F-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov, currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Russia could not help BC Nizhny Novgorod (4-3) to beat CSKA Moscow (6-1). He recorded only 4 points in 11 minutes. The fifth-placed BC Nizhny Novgorod was crushed 83-60 on the road by the leading CSKA Moscow in the group B of VTB United League. This year Yurchyk averages just 2.3ppg in the six games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian.

#2. Yivgeni Lioutrine (200-C-88, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) was not able to help Elitzur Yavne (5-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Lioutrine's good performance Elitzur Yavne was badly defeated 98-78 in Nes Ziyona by the second-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona. He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Lioutrine's first year with the team. Lioutrine's total stats this season are: 5.6ppg and 3.1rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Belarusian and Israeli. Despite Lioutrine's Belarusian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Belarusian team.

#3. Vladi Yeremishin (201-F/C-84, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) was not able to secure a victory for Ironi Ramat Gan (4-3) in their game against Hapoel Afula (5-2) in the Israeli National League (second division). Yeremishin recorded 9 points. But Ironi Ramat Gan was defeated 90-77 in Afula by the higher-ranked Hapoel (#3). But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Yeremishin averages only 2.5ppg. He has both Belarusian and Israeli nationalities. Despite Yeremishin's Belarusian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team and probably cannot be called to the Belarusian team.

#4. Sergey Karpov (200-F-80, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Sojuz Zaretchny (2-6) in their game against Novosybirsk (6-2) in the Russian Superlaegue (second division). Karpov scored only 4 points in 12 minutes. Sojuz Zaretchny was crushed 104-81 at home by the second-ranked Novosybirsk. It was Sojuz Zaretchny's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Karpov's total stats are: 6.7ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.3apg in the seven games. He also holds two passports: Belarusian and Russian.
