The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Impuls BGUIR (#5) and Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4). Impuls BGUIR (3-6) won against visiting Tsmoki-Minsk II (4-5) 75-70. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Impuls BGUIR forced 48 Tsmoki-Minsk II turnovers. Strangely Tsmoki-Minsk II outrebounded Impuls BGUIR 54-20 including a 42-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Swingman Denis Azaare (196-92) contributed with 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 24 rebounds for Tsmoki-Minsk II. Tsmoki-Minsk II's coach Tadas Stockus rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Impuls BGUIR maintains fifth position with 3-6 record. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Impuls BGUIR are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sozh Gomel on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tsmoki-Minsk II will play against the league's leader Grodno-93 and is hoping to win this game.

The former international center Yury Mishukov (205-85) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Artem Malkov chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Sozh Gomel at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Grodno-93 will play against Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) on the road in the next round. Sozh Gomel will play against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Bottom-ranked Svisloch managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Tuesday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Borisfen in Osipovichi 82-66. Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) confirmed in their roster 29-year old international forward Mikita Meshcharakou (201-104kg-88, college: Wake Forest). He played there last season. COR-Borisfen Mogilev (Premier League) hired 42-year old coach Andrei Krivonos from Tsmoki-Minsk. Krivonos has coached there for the last nine years. He helped them to win the cup. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Krivonos was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Coach of the Year back in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. Xuven Cambados (LEB Silver) landed 26-year old Belarusian center Vladzimir Krysevich (209-110kg-91). He played most recently at BSEU-GrandPrint in Belarusian Premier League.
