Very significant was Grodno-93's (#1, 10-0) victory against 4th placed Tsmoki-Minsk II (4-6) 91-70. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Tsmoki-Minsk II managed to win third quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grodno-93 forced 28 Tsmoki-Minsk II turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Dzmitry Kuzmin (196-75) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Kanstantin Yafremov (202-86, agency: Promotex) helped adding 14 points. Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Grodno-93 (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Tsmoki-Minsk II lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. Grodno-93 are looking forward to face Svisloch (#6) in Osipovichi in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tsmoki-Minsk II will have a break next round.

Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rubon. They maintain third place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Grodno-93. Borisfen lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Rubon will play against Impuls BGUIR (#5) in Minsk in the next round. Borisfen will play on the road against the league's second-placed Sozh Gomel to get more than just one victory in their record.

Sozh Gomel - Impuls BGUIR 99-57

Second ranked Sozh Gomel (8-2) crushed at home 5th ranked Impuls BGUIR (3-7) by 42 points 99-57, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Sozh Gomel. Impuls BGUIR managed to win fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Impuls BGUIR to just 6 points in third quarter. Sozh Gomel dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Impuls BGUIR's 24 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Sozh Gomel forced 19 Impuls BGUIR turnovers and outrebounded them 54-19 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sozh Gomel looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Impuls BGUIR's players. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 21 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Four Sozh Gomel players scored in double figures. point guard Anton Papruha (190-93) produced 15 points and guard Kiril Volodkin (190-91) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Akulich is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
