Artem Malkov (185-PG-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Grodno-93 and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 24-year old playmaker had the game-high 21 points adding two rebounds and three assists for Grodno-93 in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Svisloch (#6, 2-9) with 58-point margin 107-49. It allowed Grodno-93 to consolidate first place in the Belarusian Premier League. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Grodno-93 still have not lost a single game, getting all 11 victories. In the team's last game Malkov had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Artem Malkov averages this season 10.5ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old former international guard Dmitri Akulich (190-G-86) of Rubon. Akulich impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Rubon to another comfortable win 73-54 over slightly lower-ranked Impuls BGUIR (#5, 3-8) being unquestionably team leader. Rubon's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 8-3 record is not bad at all. Akulich is well-known by Rubon fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.1ppg (#6). He also recorded 4.9 assists per game. alumni Akulich played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was another Grodno-93's star - former international center Yury Mishukov (205-C-85). Mishukov scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was another key player of Grodno-93, helping his team with a 107-49 easy win against the lower-ranked Svisloch (#6, 2-9). Grodno-93 have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat. Mishukov turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Mishukov has a great season in Belarus. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.5ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 6.5rpg (6th best). He also has FGP: 65.1% and 3PT: 44.4%.

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

This week's number one is an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92). He could not help Kalev/Cramo (5-19) in their last game. Tsmoki II - Vitebsk 77-81 Vitebsk upset Tsmoki II on the road to advance into the semifinal stage.
