Premier League is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 14 rounds left.

Very significant was Sozh Gomel's (#2, 10-2) victory against 4th ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (5-7) 99-73. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-73. Sozh Gomel forced 22 Tsmoki-Minsk II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Tsmoki-Minsk II's players. Ukrainian power forward Sergei Miakinin (206-86) scored 40 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest. Forward Aliaksandr Semianiuk (207-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk II's coach Tadas Stockus gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sozh Gomel have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader Grodno-93. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Sozh Gomel are looking forward to face Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tsmoki-Minsk II will play at home against Svisloch in Osipovichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

International point guard Vyacheslau Korzh (192-86) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Artem Syrovatko supported him with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by swingman Aliaksandr Matveyeu (196-91) did not help to save the game for Impuls BGUIR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. Impuls BGUIR lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Svisloch. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Impuls BGUIR will play on the road against Borisfen (#7) in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 14 Svisloch lost to Rubon on the opponent's court 63-77.

Premier League top team - Grodno-93 (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Impuls BGUIR (3-9) 103-50. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Impuls BGUIR to just 7 points in first quarter. Grodno-93 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Impuls BGUIR's 32. Grodno-93 forced 23 Impuls BGUIR turnovers and outrebounded them 51-30 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Grodno-93 players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Impuls BGUIR's players. International point guard Vyacheslau Korzh (192-86) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and center Artem Syrovatko (207-90) supported him with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Rubon - Svisloch 77-63

Rather expected game in Vitebsk where 6th ranked Svisloch (3-9) was defeated by third ranked Rubon (8-4) 77-63. The game was mostly controlled by Rubon. Svisloch was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon forced 19 Svisloch turnovers. Russian guard Anton Indrikov (193-87) notched 28 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Dmitri Akulich (190-86) supported him with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Akulich is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 19 points and 4 assists by the former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86) did not help to save the game for Svisloch. Guard Ilya Sharipov (198-91) added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rubon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-4 record having four points less than leader Grodno-93. Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series. Semianiuk finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds to pace the winners. The centre was trumped the MVP. Tsmoki-Minsk recorded a 21:19 lead ten minutes into the game.
