Here is the weekly review of the top performing Belarusian players, who play currently abroad.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#1. This week's number one is an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Olin Edirne (3-11) in their last game. Despite Parakhouski's very good performance Olin Edirne was edged 73-72 at home by the higher-ranked (#9) Tofas. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 12 rebounds. Parakhouski also added 2 blocks in 36 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. It was Olin Edirne's fifth consecutive loss in a row. It's Parakhouski's first year with the team. Parakhouski belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #2 with 1.7bpg. He also averaged so far 12.1ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 64.3%(74-115) and FT: 44.9% in the 14 games he played so far. Parakhouski is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Vitali Liutych

#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Lithuania). He led Siauliai to a victory against the closely-ranked Lietkabelis (5-6) 85-80 in the Lithuanian LKL last Saturday. Liutych recorded 13 points. BC Siauliai (6-4) is placed fourth in the LKL. This season Liutych averages: 8.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 2FGP: 58.6%(17-29), 3FGP: 35.7% and FT: 64.7%. He is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in VTB United League). Veremeenko managed to help Unics Kazan in a victory against the seventh-ranked BC Donetsk (4-6) 74-63 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He recorded 5 points in 17 minutes. Unics Kazan (8-2) is placed first in group A. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Veremeenko is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Unics Kazan's roster. This season Veremeenko's overall stats are: 8.6ppg, 4.8rpg, 2FGP: 63.8%(30-47) and FT: 83.9% in the 10 games. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. Veremeenko played for the Belarusian national team six years ago.

Mikita Meshcharakou

#4. Small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help AcegasAps TR (7-6) in their game against Novipiu Casale (10-4) in the Italian Lega2 (second division). He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. AcegasAps TR was defeated 81-66 on the road by the second-ranked Novipiu Casale. It's Meshcharakou's first season with the team. Meshcharakou's total stats this year are: 8.2ppg and 4.2rpg. He is also Belarusian national team player.

Maksim Shustau
Maksim Shustau
#5. Former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86, currently plays in Russia) led Sojuz Zaretchny to a 3-point victory over the closely-ranked Volgograd (4-10) 44-41 in the Russian Superlaegue (second division) on Sunday night. Shustau was MVP of the game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. BC Sojuz Zaretchny (3-11) is placed second from the bottom (#14) in the Superlaegue. They ended the series of eight consecutive loses. Shustau has relatively good stats this season: 11.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.5apg. He used to play for the Belarusian national team five years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Belarusian passport but never been selected to any of Belarusian national teams:

#1. Yivgeni Lioutrine (200-C-88, currently plays in Israel) led Elitzur Yavne to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Beer Yaakov (4-7) crushing them 94-66 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday.
