The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Impuls BGUIR (#5) and Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4). Tsmoki-Minsk II was defeated at home 66-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tsmoki-Minsk II. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 34-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Yuriy Ignatiev (198-91) contributed with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Yaraslau Kurapau (200-91) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds for Tsmoki-Minsk II. Tsmoki-Minsk II's coach Tadas Stockus rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Impuls BGUIR maintains fifth place with 5-9 record. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Impuls BGUIR are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sozh Gomel at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tsmoki-Minsk II will play against the league's leader Grodno-93 and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Grodno-93 (14-0) which played road game in Gomel against second-ranked Sozh Gomel (12-3). Leader Grodno-93 managed to get a 4-point victory 64-60. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Sozh Gomel. The former international forward Andrei Mastou (202-84) stepped up and scored 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Dzmitry Kuzmin chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds. Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. Sozh Gomel at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Grodno-93 will play against Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) at home in the next round. Sozh Gomel will play against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Nikola Polyulyak nailed 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Artsiom Sharamet came up with 9 points and 7 rebounds for Borisfen in the defeat. Borisfen's coach Rostislav Vergun gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Svisloch maintains sixth place with 4-11 record. Borisfen lost their twelfth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Svisloch will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Borisfen will play against Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk.

Borisfen - Svisloch 33-100

The game without a history. Svisloch led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Svisloch held Borisfen to an opponent 22.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Svisloch forced 31 Borisfen turnovers and outrebounded them 51-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Ukrainian guard Nikola Polyulyak (192-90) nailed 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Ukrainian point guard Oleksandr Dolenko (191-90) accounted for 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. An interesting game for Grodno-93 (14-0) which played road game in Gomel against second-ranked Sozh Gomel (12-3). Leader Grodno-93 managed to get a 4-point victory 64-60. Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) landed 30-year old former Belarusian international small forward Aliaksei Trastsinetski (200-98kg-86). It is actually his comeback to Minsk as he played here before. Trastsinetski has played for the last two years at BC Ryazan in Russian Superleague 1. In 28 games he averaged 8.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.4spg last season.
