The most important game in the last round took place in Minsk between second ranked Sozh Gomel (12-4) and fifth ranked Impuls BGUIR (6-9) on Tuesday night. Sozh Gomel was defeated by Impuls BGUIR in a tough game on the road 79-85. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Impuls BGUIR forced 23 Sozh Gomel turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Sozh Gomel helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) scored 25 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kiril Volodkin (190-91) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian power forward Sergei Miakinin (206-86) with 19 points. Sozh Gomel's coach Andrey Chvankov rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Impuls BGUIR have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-9 record. Sozh Gomel at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Impuls BGUIR are looking forward to face higher ranked Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sozh Gomel will play on the road against Borisfen in Mogilev and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Rubon (8-7) against seventh ranked Borisfen (2-14) on Tuesday night. Host Rubon was defeated by Borisfen in Vitebsk 69-55. Center Artsiom Sharamet (207-93) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Andrei Aheyenka supported him with 14 points. Borisfen's coach Rostislav Vergun allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 23 points and 6 rebounds by Russian guard Anton Indrikov (193-87) did not help to save the game for Rubon. Newly promoted Borisfen maintains seventh position with 2-14 record. Rubon lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third place with seven games lost. Borisfen will play against league's second-placed Sozh Gomel at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rubon will play against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

They maintain first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Loser Tsmoki-Minsk II keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Grodno-93 will meet at home Svisloch (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Tsmoki-Minsk II will have a break next round.
