The game between second ranked Sozh Gomel (12-5) and seventh ranked Borisfen (3-14) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Sozh Gomel was defeated by Borisfen in a tough game in Mogilev 76-84. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Sozh Gomel won second period 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Borisfen made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Sozh Gomel turnovers. Center Artsiom Sharamet (207-93) fired 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Andrei Aheyenka (194-92) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Borisfen's coach Rostislav Vergun used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Siarhei Charykau (185-82, college: Yakima Valley CC) produced 24 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for lost side. Newly promoted Borisfen maintains seventh place with 3-14 record. Sozh Gomel lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with five games lost. Borisfen are looking forward to face higher ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sozh Gomel will have a break next round.

Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yuriy Ignatiev (198-91) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. Denis Azaare contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Russian guard Anton Indrikov (193-87) answered with 26 points and 9 rebounds for Rubon. Impuls BGUIR have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Tsmoki-Minsk II. Rubon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the third position with eight games lost. Impuls BGUIR will play against Svisloch (#6) in Osipovichi in the next round. Rubon will play at home against the league's leader Grodno-93 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
