Here is the weekly review of the top performing Belarusian players, who play currently abroad.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Eurocup). He contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Zvezda (1-2) 78-59 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Veremeenko scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. Unics Kazan (2-1) is placed first in group L. There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. It's Veremeenko's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 7.8ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 51.9% and FT: 73.7% in the nine games he played so far. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He played for the Belarusian senior national team six years ago.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#2. Second place goes to an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. Parakhouski could not help Olin Edirne (3-13) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Olin Edirne was edged 85-82 on the road by the higher-ranked Gaziantep (#11). Parakhouski recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and made 3 blocks. It's Parakhouski's first season with the team. Parakhouski is currently second on the league's list of best blockers. He has very reliable stats this season: 11.9ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.3apg, 1.8bpg, 2FGP: 65.6%(82-125) and FT: 47.4%. Parakhouski is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Mikita Meshcharakou
Mikita Meshcharakou
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy). He was not able to help AcegasAps TR (8-8) in their game against Aget Service IM (5-12) in the Italian Lega2 (second division), despite his very good performance on Sunday night. Meshcharakou was the top scorer with 14 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Meshcharakou's third season in pro basketball. But AcegasAps TR lost 58-70 in Imola to the league outsider (#15) Aget Service IM. This year Meshcharakou's overall stats are: 8.9ppg, 4.4rpg, 2FGP: 44.6%, 3FGP: 21.9% and FT: 88.0% in the 16 games. He is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Aleh Kojenets
Aleh Kojenets
#4. An experienced center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington, currently plays in Lithuania) was the major contributor in Mazeikiai's victory against the league outsider Nafta Universitetas (5-23) 93-75 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) in Saturday night's game. Kojenets recorded 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Mazeikiai (22-6) is placed first in the NKL. Kojenets has relatively good stats this season: 11.7ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg. He used to play for the Belarusian national team back in 2009.

Maksim Shustau
Maksim Shustau
#5. Former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86, currently plays in Russia) led Sojuz Zaretchny to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Severstal (4-13) 77-65 in the Russian Superleague (second division) on Saturday night. Shustau scored 12 points and added 6 passes. BC Sojuz Zaretchny (4-13) is placed 13th in the Superleague. This season Shustau has relatively solid stats: 13.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.8apg. He used to play for the Belarusian national team five years ago.

Dante Stiggers
Dante Stiggers
#6. Point guard Dante Stiggers (188-82, college: S.Mississippi, currently plays in Cyprus) was not able to secure a victory for Apoel (2-6) in their game against Keravnos (12-3) in the Cypriot Division A. He scored 8 points. Apoel was edged 75-74 in Strovolos by the leading Keravnos. Stiggers belongs to league's best passers (ranked #7) and also on the list of most steals (second place). His total stats this season are: 9.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg and 2.3spg. Stiggers is a naturalized American. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Belarusian National Team roster. Stiggers used to play for BK Minsk-2006 in Belarusian league.

The list of other players, who all have Belarusian passport but never been selected to any of Belarusian national teams:

#1. Yivgeni Lioutrine (200-C-88, currently plays in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Kiryat Tivon (4-10) 92-76 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Wednesday. Lioutrine scored 8 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks in only 13 minutes. Elitzur Yavne (10-4) is placed fourth in the National League. This year Lioutrine's total stats are: 8.6ppg and 4.0rpg in the 14 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Israeli. Despite Lioutrine's Belarusian passport, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Belarusian team.

#2. Igor Suhinin, who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Planeta-Universitet Ukhta (6-11) to beat Rjazan (10-7). Suhinin scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 27 minutes. Planeta-Universitet Ukhta was badly defeated 81-63 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Rjazan. It was Planeta-Universitet Ukhta's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Suhinin's total stats are: 6.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.5apg and 1.8spg in the four games.

#3. Vladi Yeremishin (201-F/C-84, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help Ironi Ramat Gan (8-6) in their game against Ironi Nes-Ziona (12-2) in the Israeli National League (second division). He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. Ironi Ramat Gan was edged 61-60 in Nes Ziyona by the leading Ironi Nes-Ziona.
