An exciting game was played in Vitebsk. Top-ranked Grodno-93 faced 3rd ranked Rubon. Guests from Grodno (17-0) defeated host Rubon (8-9) 67-57. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Dzmitry Kuzmin (196-75) who scored 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. point guard Artem Malkov (185-88) chipped in 12 points. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Russian guard Anton Indrikov (193-87) produced 16 points for the hosts. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-0 record. Rubon lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the third place with nine games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki-Minsk II. Grodno-93 are looking forward to face Impuls BGUIR (#5) in Minsk in the next round. Rubon will play on the road against Svisloch in Osipovichi and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Svisloch maintains sixth position with 5-12 record. Impuls BGUIR at the other side keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Svisloch will play against higher ranked Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Impuls BGUIR will play at home against the league's leader Grodno-93 and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 20 bottom-ranked Borisfen was defeated by Tsmoki-Minsk II in a road game 66-52.


Svisloch - Impuls BGUIR 103-69

The game in Osipovichi supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Impuls BGUIR (7-10) played at the court of sixth ranked Svisloch (5-12). Svisloch smashed Impuls BGUIR 103-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Impuls BGUIR. The game was mostly controlled by Svisloch. Impuls BGUIR was better in second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svisloch dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Impuls BGUIR's 34. Svisloch forced 30 Impuls BGUIR turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Impuls BGUIR's players. There was no surprise when 7th ranked Borisfen (3-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (8-9) 66-52. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk II. Borisfen was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Borisfen 54-23 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Vladimir Krisevich (210-91) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Lithuanian point guard Vytautas Kamarunas (179-89) contributed with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Tsmoki-Minsk II's coach Tadas Stockus allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Fedor Kryukov (181-88) replied with 17 points and 4 steals and center Artsiom Sharamet (207-93) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Borisfen. Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
