We bring you last week's top performances from Belarusians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international center Anastasiya Veremeenko (194-87, currently plays in Turkey). She contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Antakya (7-9) 72-57 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game.
Veremeenko recorded 9 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in 24 minutes on the court.
Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (15-1) is placed first in the TKBL.
It's Veremeenko's first season with the team.
Veremeenko is currently first on the list of best blockers with 1.9bpg.
She also averaged so far 8.5ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.7apg, 2FGP: 62.2%(46-74), 3FGP: 53.3%(8-15) and FT: 73.3% in the 15 games she played so far.
Veremeenko is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian PBL. She could not help Vologda-Chevakata (6-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Snytsina's good performance Vologda-Chevakata was badly defeated 77-61 on the road by the lower-ranked Dynamo-GUVD (#7).
She recorded 10 points and added 3 assists.
Snytsina belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #9.
She has very reliable stats this season: 13.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.4apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 37.1%, 3FGP: 34.9% and FT: 88.9%.
Snytsina has a dual citizenship: Kazakhstan and Belarusian.
Ex-Gorizont Minsk player is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international forward Nataliya Trofimowa (186-79, currently plays in Russia). She managed to help Energy Ivanovo in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Spartak Noginsk (2-9) 65-56 in the Russian PBL on Sunday night.
Trofimowa scored only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Energy Ivanovo (3-10) is placed eighth in the PBL.
This year Trofimowa averages: 4.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 45.5%, 3FGP: 26.7% and FT: 57.1% in the 10 games.
She is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.
#4. Swingman Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-88, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to a 1-point Arras' victory against the fifth-ranked CSM Targoviste (3-8) 67-66 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game.
Likhtarovich recorded 6 points.
Arras Pays d'Artois Basket Feminin (2-9) is placed seventh in group B.
Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Likhtarovich's overall stats this season are: 2.0ppg and 1.8rpg.
She is also Belarusian national team player.

Lithuania shock Belarus in Zloty Sokol opener. The Lithuanian team celebrated an easy 57:38 win at the International Tournament in Poland.

Marina Solopova and Inesa Visgaudaite (172-PG-91) top-scored for the winners with 10 points each. Giedre Paugaite (192-C-90) nailed 9, while Kristina Alminaite (205-C-90) scored 7. In another game Poland needs two overtimes to beat Ukraine in Day 1 of the international Tournament Zloty Sokol. The hosts of the tournament grabbed an 87:83 win over Ukraine in their opener. Tomorrow Ukraine will take on Belarus, while Poland will play against Lithuania.

Belarus NT twice beat United Kingdom in the friendly campaigns in order to prepare better for Eurobasket 2013. The Belarusian players posted two victories and won already three friendly games. Earlier the team overcame Latvia 63:47.
On May 12th Belarus posted a 48:43 defensive win. Trailing 9-16 in the first period, Belarus needed an 18-12 rally to reduced to just 1 points at the halftime. The third period was a nightmare for the British team that managed to score only 2 points [read more]
