Sozh Gomel forced 27 Tsmoki-Minsk II turnovers. It was a good game for guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) who led his team to a victory with 31 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The former international point guard Siarhei Charykau (185-82, college: Yakima Valley CC) contributed with 22 points, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Center Vladimir Krisevich (210-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for Tsmoki-Minsk II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sozh Gomel maintains second place with 13-5 record having five points less than leader Grodno-93. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Sozh Gomel are looking forward to face Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
