Anastasiya Veremeenko
#1. This week's number one is an international center Anastasiya Veremeenko (194-87, currently plays in Euroleague). She led her Turkish team Fenerbahce to a victory over the fourth-ranked Familia Schio (7-5) 82-68 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. Veremeenko was MVP of the game. She had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Veremeenko also added 2 blocks in 32 minutes on the court. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (9-3) is placed second in group B. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Veremeenko's first season with the team. Veremeenko is the league's best blocker with 2.2bpg. She also averaged so far 10.9ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 64.6%(51-79), 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 68.8% in the 12 games she played so far.
