Here is the weekly review of the top performing Belarusian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Anastasiya Veremeenko (194-87, currently plays in Euroleague). She led her Turkish team Fenerbahce to a victory over the fourth-ranked Familia Schio (7-5) 82-68 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. Veremeenko was MVP of the game. She had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Veremeenko also added 2 blocks in 32 minutes on the court. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (9-3) is placed second in group B. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Veremeenko's first season with the team. Veremeenko is the league's best blocker with 2.2bpg. She also averaged so far 10.9ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 64.6%(51-79), 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 68.8% in the 12 games she played so far. Veremeenko is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian PBL. She could not help Vologda-Chevakata (6-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Snytsina's good performance Vologda-Chevakata was defeated 77-64 on the road by the leading UMMC Ekaterinburg. She was the second best scorer with 11 points. Snytsina also added 3 passes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Snytsina is ranked ninth on the list of the top scorers in the league. She has very reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.4apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 36.4%, 3FGP: 33.0%. Snytsina has a dual citizenship: Kazakhstan and Belarusian. Ex-Gorizont Minsk player is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

   #3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Alexandra Tarasava (170-88, currently plays in Czech Republic). Tarasava was not able to help VS Praha (10-11) in their game against DSK Karlin (5-17) in the Czech Republic ZBL. She recorded 7 points. VS Praha was defeated 67-56 at home by the one of league's weakest teams DSK Karlin (#11). It was VS Praha's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This season Tarasava averages: 9.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.1apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 44.6%, 3FGP: 32.6% and FT: 86.1%. She is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

   #4. An experienced forward Nataliya Trofimowa (185-79, currently plays in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for Energy Ivanovo (3-11) in their game against Nadezhda Orenburg (10-4) in the Russian PBL. Trofimowa scored 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 20 minutes. Energy Ivanovo lost 67-73 on their home court in Ivanovo to the higher-ranked (#3) Nadezhda Orenburg. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Trofimowa's overall stats are: 4.9ppg and 5.4rpg in the 11 games. She is also Belarusian national team player.

   #5. International swingman Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-88, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn't help Arras (2-10) in their game against Nadezhda Orenburg (8-4) in the Euroleague. Likhtarovich scored only 4 points. The seventh-placed Arras was badly defeated 89-71 in Orenburg by the higher-ranked Nadezhda (#3) in the group B of Euroleague. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. Likhtarovich's total stats this season are: 2.4ppg and 1.4rpg. She plays currently for the Belarusian national team.


One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Belarusian passport:

   #1. Lidia Panasiuk (187-C-85, currently plays in Lithuania), who plays in the Lithuanian LMKL could not help Ruta Siauliai (7-13) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Ruta Siauliai lost 70-77 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Fortuna. Panasiuk was the top scorer with 19 points. She also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 32 minutes. Panasiuk belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #8 with 15.7ppg. This year her other stats are: 6.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg in the 20 games she played so far.

1880 Wasserburg (DBBL) added to their roster 28-year old Belarusian international point guard Alexandra Tarasava (171-88). It is actually her comeback to TSV 1880 Wasserburg as she has played here before. Tarasava is not a newcomer in German League where she played last season at SV Halle Lions in the DBBL. 28-year old international center Viktoriya Hasper (192-87kg-88). She has played there for the last four seasons. Hasper managed to play in three leagues last year. In four Baltic League games she had 9.0ppg and 3.8rpg. She also played 17 games in Premier League where she recorded 10.9ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.4apg. 74:66 Australia celebrated the fifth straight victory at the Olympic tournament. They beat Belarus to finish the preliminary round campaign undefeated. Cambage Elizabeth (203-C-91) notched 17 points and 9 boards to lead the Opals. Belarus stayed in charge throughout the first three periods. Belarus secured a 39:36 halftime lead.
