We bring you last week's top performances from Belarusians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Vitali Liutych
Vitali Liutych
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Baltic League). He led his Lithuanian team Siauliai to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Sakalai (1-5) 92-74 in the Baltic League in Wednesday night's game. Liutych recorded 12 points in 31 minutes on the court. BC Siauliai (4-2) is placed second in group H. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Baltic League Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Liutych has relatively good stats this year: 10.2ppg, 2.7rpg, 2FGP: 58.7%(44-75), 3FGP: 37.1% and FT: 70.3% in the 15 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#2. Second place goes to an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. Parakhouski could not help Olin Edirne (4-15) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Olin Edirne was defeated 69-59 at home by the much higher-ranked Galatasaray (#4). Parakhouski recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Parakhouski is currently seventh on the list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (first place). He has very reliable stats this season: 12.4ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.3apg, 1.8bpg, 2FGP: 65.4%(100-153) and FT: 50.7%. Parakhouski is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in VTB United League). He contributed to an Unics Kazan's victory against the tenth-ranked Azovmash (2-13) 78-71 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. Veremeenko scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 19 minutes. Unics Kazan (11-4) is placed first in group A. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Veremeenko's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 8.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 2FGP: 59.7%(40-67) and FT: 86.5% in the 14 games. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He played for the Belarusian national team six years ago.

Mikita Meshcharakou
Mikita Meshcharakou
#4. Small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian Lega2 (second division) was not able to help AcegasAps TR (8-11) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Meshcharakou's very good performance AcegasAps TR was defeated 94-88 on their home court in Trieste by the second-ranked Tuscany Pistoia. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Meshcharakou also added 6 rebounds. It's Meshcharakou's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 9.3ppg and 4.4rpg. Meshcharakou is also Belarusian national team player.

Aleh Kojenets
Aleh Kojenets
#5. An experienced former international center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington, currently plays in Lithuania) was the major contributor in Mazeikiai's victory against the 15th-ranked Ezerunas-Karys (10-24) crushing them 86-55 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) last Friday. He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. Mazeikiai (27-7) is placed first in the NKL. The Regular Season already ended. This year Kojenets has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg and 4.1rpg in the 32 games. He used to play for the Belarusian national team four years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Belarusian passport but never been selected to any of Belarusian national teams:

#1. Vladi Yeremishin (201-F/C-84, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (6-12) crushing them 97-70 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night. Yeremishin scored 6 points. Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan (10-8) is placed seventh in the National League. Yeremishin's overall stats this season are: 3.3ppg and 2.1rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Israeli. Despite Yeremishin's Belarusian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Belarusian team.

#2. Yivgeni Lioutrine (200-C-88, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Elitzur Yavne in a victory against the closely-ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (10-8) 83-78 in the Israeli National League (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Lioutrine scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 12 minutes. Elitzur Yavne (13-5) is placed fourth in the National League. This year Lioutrine's overall stats are: 7.5ppg and 4.1rpg in the 18 games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Belarusian and Israeli.

#3. Igor Suhinin, who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Planeta-Universitet Ukhta (6-14) to beat Ural Ekaterinburg (15-4). Suhinin cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Planeta-Universitet Ukhta was defeated 66-58 on the road by the second-ranked Ural Ekaterinburg. It was Planeta-Universitet Ukhta's sixth consecutive loss in a row. Suhinin's overall stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.9apg and 1.3spg.
