Meshcharakou helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. The previous (14-15) season he played at Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) in Belarus. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Meshcharakou had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 7 Premier League games he averaged 4.4ppg and 3.9rpg. He contributed to his team winning the league title and the cup. Meshcharakou also played 4 games in FIBA Europe Cup but he averaged just 0.5ppg and 1.0rpg. He also played 20 games in VTB United League his stats were only 2.3ppg and 1.6rpg. Meshcharakou represented Belarus at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 two years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 2.2ppg, 2.6rpg. Meshcharakou has played previously professionally in Italy (Trieste) and Belarus (Vitalyur-RGUOR). He attended Wake Forest University until 2012 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Meshcharakou's game is described as:
Athletic forward who runs the floor well ... Lefty who possesses the ability to knock down medium to long-range jumpers ... Multi-dimensional player who can guard different positions.
The younger brother of the professional player Yahor, is a great small forward who can handle the ball with the same broadmindedness as a point guard. His three point abilities are great and he has a stable, over the average, percentage (around 43%). He has more than one ways to penetrate the basket while his size is helping him many times to get a position in the paint and gain rebounds from even much taller players. He is a smart player and a hard worker; he can pursue the opponent's defense by gaining space with his very long feet. The way that he triples gives him the opportunity to "see" the court easily which means that the assists are a part of his repertoire. Last but not least, he is a good defender and he can steal the ball from both taller and shorter players. He is definitely a Euroleague material and maybe with a hard work could reach the NBA.
