There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Premier League.

Undefeated Grodno-93 (21-1) recorded its first loss in Osipovichi on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Svisloch (8-14) 66-58. It ended at the same time the 21-game winning streak of Grodno-93. Grodno-93 was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 30-16 charge of Svisloch, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Oleksandr Dolenko (191-90) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Dzmitry Kuzmin (196-75) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the guests. Svisloch moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Impuls BGUIR. Grodno-93 at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Svisloch is looking forward to face Impuls BGUIR (#6) in Minsk in the next round. Grodno-93 will play at home against Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Sergei Miakinin contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Sozh Gomel's coach Aleksander Poderachev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Vadzim Haidukevich (193-93) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for Borisfen. Sozh Gomel maintains second position with 17-6 record having three points less than leader Grodno-93. Newly promoted Borisfen stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Sozh Gomel will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Borisfen will play at home against Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 26 Impuls BGUIR was defeated by Rubon in Vitebsk 78-62.


Sozh Gomel - Borisfen 99-79

The game with biggest result difference took place in Gomel. Local Sozh Gomel (17-6) outscored 7th ranked Borisfen (4-19) 99-79. The game was mostly controlled by Sozh Gomel. Borisfen was better in third quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Sozh Gomel outrebounded Borisfen 46-33 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. Ukrainian power forward Sergei Miakinin (206-86) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Five Sozh Gomel players scored in double figures. Sozh Gomel's coach Aleksander Poderachev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Rubon - Impuls BGUIR 78-62

There was no surprise in Vitebsk where 5th ranked Impuls BGUIR (8-14) was defeated by third ranked Rubon (10-11) 78-62. Rubon outrebounded Impuls BGUIR 44-22 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Russian guard Anton Indrikov (193-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. Guard Siarhei Sapegin (195-84) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Rubon's coach Ruslan Baidakov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Denis Azaare (196-92) added 11 points in the effort for Impuls BGUIR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rubon maintains third position with 10-11 record having twelve points less than leader Grodno-93. Impuls BGUIR lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Svisloch. Rubon will play against league's leader Grodno-93 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Impuls BGUIR will play against Svisloch (#5) in Osipovichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
