#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Italy). He was the major contributor in an AcegasAps TR's victory against the closely-ranked Upea CdO (8-12) crushing them 91-69 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) in Sunday night's game.
Meshcharakou had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added and 6 steals in 33 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Meshcharakou's third season in pro basketball. Acegas Aps Trieste (9-11) is placed ninth in the Lega2.
It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses.
This year Meshcharakou averages: 9.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 44.5%, 3FGP: 27.1% and FT: 77.8% in the 20 games he played so far.
He is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Turkey). Parakhouski led Olin Edirne to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Antalya (4-16) 71-59 in the Turkish TBL last Saturday.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. Parakhouski also added 3 blocks.
Olin Edirne Basketball (5-15) is placed 14th in the TBL.
It's Parakhouski's first season with the team.
Parakhouski is currently seventh on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (first place).
He has very reliable stats this season: 12.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.3apg, 1.9bpg, 2FGP: 65.2%(105-161) and FT: 52.1%.
Parakhouski is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Russia). He contributed to an Unics Kazan's victory against the closely-ranked Krasnie Krilya (6-4) 74-66 in the Russian PBL on Sunday night.
Veremeenko scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in only 12 minutes.
Unics Kazan (5-7) is placed sixth in the PBL.
Veremeenko has been at the team for five years.
This season his overall stats are: 6.3ppg, 3.9rpg, 2FGP: 65.5%(19-29) and FT: 85.7% in the eight games.
Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian.
He played for the Belarusian national team six years ago.
#4. Shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Lithuania) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Sakalai (4-12) crushing them 89-69 in the Lithuanian LKL in Saturday night's game.
Liutych recorded 6 points and added 3 passes.
BC Siauliai (8-7) is placed seventh in the LKL.
They ended the series of three consecutive loses.
Liutych's total stats this season are: 8.3ppg and 3.8rpg.
He is also Belarusian national team player.
#5. International point guard Dante Stiggers (188-82, college: S.Mississippi, currently plays in Cyprus), who plays in the Cypriot Division A could not help Apoel (12-9) to beat Apollon (9-12).
Stiggers scored 9 points and added 4 passes in 23 minutes.
But Apoel lost 79-83 on the road to the lower-ranked (#5) Apollon.
Stiggers belongs to league's best passers (ranked #7) and also on the list of most steals (third place).
This year his total stats are: 8.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.3apg and 2.1spg in the 16 games.
Stiggers is a naturalized American.
He plays currently for the Belarusian national team.
Stiggers used to play for BK Minsk-2006 in Belarusian league.
#6. Guard Maksim Shustau (188-86, currently plays in Russia) was not able to help Sojuz Zaretchny (4-17) in their game against Avtodor (9-11) in the Russian Superleague (second division).
He was the second best scorer with 6 points in 21 minutes.
Sojuz Zaretchny was crushed 79-46 in Saratov by the higher-ranked (#10) Avtodor.
It was Sojuz Zaretchny's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
Shustau has relatively good stats this year: 11.1ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.4apg in the nine games.
He is a former international player as he played for the Belarusian senior team five years ago.

#2. Experienced Sergey Karpov (200-F-80, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Sojuz Zaretchny (4-17) to beat Avtodor (9-11). Karpov cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.

He played last season at Tsmoki-Minsk (Belarus-Premier League) and averaged 3.2ppg and 1.2rpg in 25 games of VTB League. Besides, he played in FIBA Europe Cup and made 3.7ppg and 1.3rpg in 11 games. He helped his team to win Belorussian National Cup and Belorussian Premier League. He is also taking part in qualification tournament to Eurobasket-2017, which occurs at the moment, and even played 1 game, where he made 11pts and 8reb. His new team Kalev/Cramo is the strongest Estonian team. They won Estonian League 6 times in the last 8 years and previous season they make the double - they won Estonian League and Estonian Cup. In the same time they are regular participant of VTB League, one of the strongest regular league in Europe, so next year Vitali Liutych will play against his previous team Tsmoki-Minsk, which is also member of this tournament. Kalev/Cramo also will play in Eurocup next season and it will be the second appearance in this tournament (the first was in season 2013/2014). The coach of Kalev/Cramo is Alar Varrak, who 8 years stays on this position and is one of creators of Estonian club's success.
