The biggest surprise of round 16 was guest BSEU-GrandPrint's (3-11) road victory over 7th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (2-12) 93-79 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by BSEU-GrandPrint. GOCOR-Sozh managed to win second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Sergej Vabischevich (190-88) fired 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. point guard Dmitriy Roslikau (182-95) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. point guard Tsimafei Viaroukin (186-93) produced 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. BSEU-GrandPrint moved-up to seventh place. GOCOR-Sozh at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. They share it with Brest. BSEU-GrandPrint's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Impuls BGUIR.

Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Yuri Mishukov (205-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Andrei Navoichyk contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. point guard Andrey Stavrovskiy (185-97) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds for Tsmoki II. Tsmoki II's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-0 record. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play on the road against the league's second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Forward Andrei Navoichyk (200-91) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. The game with biggest result difference took place in Mogilev. Local COR-Borisfen (12-0) outscored 9th ranked Brest (2-12) 124-76 on Saturday night. The game without a history. COR-Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Brest's 52. COR-Borisfen forced 20 Brest turnovers and outrebounded them 56-31 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Alexander Kharkevich (186-86) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Ukrainian power forward Andriy Malysh (203-83, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who added 16 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Alexei Stepura (189-93) responded with 24 points and guard Anton Shchurko (188-97) scored 23 points.
