The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Gorizont (12-2) in Grodno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Olimpia GrGAU (11-3) 79-72. Gorizont trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-79 at the end of the game. Olimpia GrGAU made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Natallia Dashkevich (188-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Olga Kopylova (187-82) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds for Gorizont. Olimpia GrGAU is again looking forward to face Gorizont in Minsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gorizont will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Tsmoki-Minsk (11-3) which played road game in Gomel against Sozh-GGU (6-8). Tsmoki-Minsk managed to get a 11-point victory 62-51. It was a great evening for American guard Rachel Theriot (183-94, college: Nebraska) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Anastasiya Sushchyk helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Andrey Vavleu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was center Tatsiana Rebianchuk (186-88) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk .
The game in Brest was also quite interesting. Victoria (5-10) played at the court of BrGU COR Victoria (0-15). Victoria managed to secure a 7-point victory 73-66 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Yuliya Vasilevich who led the winners and scored 17 points and 4 assists. Oksana Isaenko came up with 20 points for BrGU COR Victoria in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Victoria will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BrGU COR Victoria will play again against Victoria (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game between Gorizont II (5-10) and Polotsk (2-1) in Minsk ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Polotsk beat Gorizont II 66-49. The best player for the winners was Anna Hatskevich who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polotsk will have a break next round. Gorizont II will play again at home against Polotsk (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

BrGU - Victoria 66-73

The game in Brest was also quite interesting. Victoria (5-10) played at the court of BrGU COR Victoria (0-15). Victoria managed to secure a 7-point victory 73-66 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 26-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 4 assists. Forward Yana Haliakova (184-1) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Oksana Isaenko (173-1) came up with 20 points and guard Khrystina Batsanova (165-96) added 20 points respectively for BrGU COR Victoria in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Victoria will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BrGU COR Victoria will play again against Victoria (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Gorizont II - Polotsk 49-66

The game between Gorizont II (5-10) and Polotsk (2-1) in Minsk ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Polotsk beat Gorizont II 66-49. It looked good early as Gorizont II took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Polotsk had a 27-13 second period charge getting the lead and Gorizont II was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 49-66. Polotsk forced 30 Gorizont II turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Polotsk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Anna Hatskevich (180-92) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Varvara Verevka chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Daryna Bachkarova (182-0) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and forward Darya Semiletnikova (-1) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polotsk will have a break next round.
