Bottom-ranked BrGU COR Victoria (0-16) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to fifth ranked Victoria (6-10) 79-53 on Sunday evening. 25 personal fouls committed by BrGU COR Victoria helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Yana Haliakova (184-1) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Diana Tolochko (177-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Victoria maintains fifth position with 6-10 record. BrGU COR Victoria at the other side still closes the standings. They are looking forward to face Gorizont II (#6) in Minsk in the next round. BrGU COR Victoria will play at home against Polotsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Gorizont II - Polotsk 58-72

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Minsk where 6th ranked Gorizont II (5-11) was defeated by seventh ranked Polotsk (3-1) 72-58 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Polotsk. Gorizont II managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gorizont II to just 7 points in first quarter. Polotsk forced 21 Gorizont II turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Gorizont II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Maryna Krivitskaya (175-87) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 steals and Varvara Verevka who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Polotsk players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Darya Semiletnikova (-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Ekaterina Yalchik (170-0) scored 11 points and 5 assists.
