The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Gorizont (12-3) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Tsmoki-Minsk (12-3) 63-40. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gorizont to just 6 points in third quarter. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont's 24. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 24 Gorizont turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) stepped up and scored 13 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners and American guard Rachel Theriot (183-94, college: Nebraska) chipped in 16 points. The former international forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86) responded with 6 points and 8 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Olimpia and Gorizont. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in Brest. Eighth ranked BrGU COR Victoria (1-16) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging 7th ranked Polotsk (3-2) 67-66 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Polotsk. Diana Tolochko (177-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side and Anastasia Babak accounted for 19 points and 13 rebounds. BrGU COR Victoria's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Maryna Krivitskaya (175-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for Polotsk in the defeat. BrGU COR Victoria maintains eighth place with 1-16 record. Newly promoted Polotsk keeps the seventh position with two games lost. BrGU COR Victoria will again play against higher ranked Polotsk (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Polotsk will have a break next round.

The best player for the winners was Olga Kopylova who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Olimpia GrGAU's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alesia Lalovich produced 14 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Olimpia GrGAU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Tsmoki-Minsk and Gorizont. Sozh-GGU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

BrGU - Polotsk 67-66

Important game to mention about took place in Brest. Eighth ranked BrGU COR Victoria (1-16) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging 7th ranked Polotsk (3-2) 67-66 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Polotsk. It looked good early as Polotsk took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then BrGU COR Victoria had a 22-18 second period charge getting the lead and Polotsk was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-67. They outrebounded Polotsk 52-32 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Diana Tolochko (177-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side and forward Anastasia Babak (177-2) accounted for 19 points and 13 rebounds. BrGU COR Victoria's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Maryna Krivitskaya (175-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Katsiaryna Kalvinkoskaya (162-93) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Polotsk in the defeat.
