The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Impuls BGUIR (#5) and Tsmoki II (#3). Impuls BGUIR (12-9) won against visiting Tsmoki II (13-6) 88-84. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 30 personal fouls committed by Tsmoki II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Genadziy Zahar (200-92) contributed with 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Maksim Liutych (200-97) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for Tsmoki II. Tsmoki II's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Impuls BGUIR moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vitebsk. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Impuls BGUIR's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki II.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Grodno: Grodno-93 (#1) and Prinemanye (#7). Grodno-93 (20-1) crushed visiting Prinemanye (5-16) by 19 points 85-66. It was a great evening for the former international guard Dmitry Kuzmin (196-75) who led his team to a victory scoring 8 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Victor Ilyukevich helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Grodno-93's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) responded with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Grodno-93 have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. Prinemanye lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. Grodno-93's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Grodno Prinemanye.

Bottom-ranked Brest managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Brest edged eighth-ranked GOCOR-Sozh 76-74. The best player for the winners was Dmitriy Dmitruk who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Brest's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Brest (3-16) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated GOCOR-Sozh. Brest's next round opponent will be again bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#9) in Gomel.
Premier League top team - Grodno-93 (20-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (6-18) in Minsk 86-52. Kiryl Chumakov orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Grodno-93's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Grodno-93. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. Loser BSEU-GrandPrint keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. Grodno-93's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Grodno Prinemanye.

In the last game of round 23 Grodno-93 beat BSEU-GrandPrint on the road 77-66.
The most impressive performance of 23th round was 14 points and 6 rebounds by Yuri Mishukov of Grodno-93.

COR-Borisfen - Vitebsk 80-60

An interesting game for COR-Borisfen (18-1) which hosted in Mogilev 4th placed Vitebsk (12-9). Second ranked COR-Borisfen had an easy win 80-60. The game was mostly controlled by COR-Borisfen. Vitebsk managed to win third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for Ukrainian power forward Andriy Malysh (203-83, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Sergey Tatur (194-91) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Power forward Anton Vashkevich (203-94) came up with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Aliaksei Kachan (185-91) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for Vitebsk in the defeat.
