The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tsmoki-Minsk (12-4) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Gorizont (13-3) 72-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tsmoki-Minsk. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Gorizont. Tsmoki-Minsk managed to win fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gorizont forced 25 Tsmoki-Minsk turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds. French point guard Najat Ouardad (152-90, college: Auburn, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 13 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. The former international forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) answered with 18 points and 5 assists for Tsmoki-Minsk. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Tsmoki-Minsk at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. Gorizont are looking forward to face Sozh-GGU (#4) in Gomel in the next round. Tsmoki-Minsk will play on the road against the league's second-placed Olimpia GrGAU in Grodno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Mariya Kryzhanouskaya helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. Victoria's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Daryna Bachkarova (182-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Victoria have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 10-10 record. Gorizont II lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Victoria will play against Polotsk (#7) on the road in the next round. Gorizont II will play against BrGU COR Victoria in Brest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games in round 7 were not that significant. Gorizont II was beaten by Victoria on the road 68-61. Victoria won against BrGU on its own court 78-69. Bottom-ranked BrGU was outscored by Victoria in Grodno 81-58.

Victoria - Gorizont II 84-49

The game between fifth ranked Victoria (10-10) and 6th ranked Gorizont II (5-13) in Grodno ended with biggest points difference. Victoria outscored guests from Minsk 84-49. The game was mostly controlled by Victoria. Gorizont II was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Victoria held Gorizont II to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners and had 28 for 39 from the free-throw line, while Gorizont II only scored twelve points from the stripe. Victoria forced 19 Gorizont II turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including a 38-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gorizont II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. BrGU COR Victoria was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 44-26 second half run of Victoria. It was a great evening for point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points. Forward Yana Haliakova (184-1) helped adding 21 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side forward Anastasia Babak (177-2) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and forward Oksana Isaenko (173-1) scored 14 points. Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Victoria (10-10) rolled over bottom-ranked BrGU COR Victoria (1-19) in Grodno 81-58. It looked good early as BrGU COR Victoria took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Victoria had a 22-10 second period charge getting the lead and BrGU COR Victoria was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 58-81. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BrGU COR Victoria's 38. It was a great evening for forward Yana Haliakova (184-1) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Anastasiya Serchenya (182-0) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side guard Khrystina Batsanova (165-96) responded with 16 points and forward Anastasia Babak (177-2) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds.
