   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Maalik Wayns (185-91, college: Villanova, currently plays in Israel). He could not help Maccabi Rishon (9-9) in their last game. Despite Wayns' very good performance Maccabi Rishon lost 77-92 on the road to the second-ranked Hapoel Holon. He was the second best scorer with 19 points in 29 minutes on the court. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Wayns' first season with the team. Wayns has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.6apg, 1.1spg, 3FGP: 41.8% and FT: 67.9% in 10 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Despite Wayns played previously for the USA U18 national team, he is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team. Strangely Wayns has never played in Belarus.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85, currently plays in Hungary). He led Falco KC to a victory over the tenth-ranked Szedeak (8-10) 74-69 in the Hungarian A Division last Saturday. Pustahvar was MVP of the game. He scored 24 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Falco KC Szombathely (12-6) is placed second in the A Division. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This season Pustahvar has relatively solid stats: 13.7ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 66.1%(39-59), 3FGP: 46.4%(45-97) and FT: 85.0%. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. Ex-Tsmoki-Minsk player is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

   #3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (211-87, college: Radford, currently plays in Euroleague). Parakhouski was not able to help Unics Kazan (7-15) in their last game. Despite his good performance the 14th-placed Unics Kazan (7-15) lost 77-81 in Madrid to the leading Real in the group A of Euroleague. Parakhouski was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. It was Unics Kazan's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Parakhouski has reliable stats this year: 12.1ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 65.4%(102-156) and FT: 79.4% in 21 games. He is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

An experienced forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Brose Baskets Bamberg to win against the 15th-ranked s Oliver Baskets (5-15) 88-78 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. Veremeenko scored only 4 points. Brose Baskets Bamberg (19-1) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Veremeenko's overall stats this season are: 5.3ppg and 2.5rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Belarusian and Russian. Veremeenko used to play for the Belarusian national team back in 2007.

Former U18 international forward Anton Astapkovich (202-94, currently plays in VTB United League) was not able to secure a victory for Avtodor (5-10) in their game against CSKA (14-1) in the VTB United League. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 18 minutes. Avtodor lost 80-95 in Moscow to the leading CSKA. This year Astapkovich averages: 1.7ppg and 1.9rpg in 12 games. He used to play for the Belarusian U18 national team six years ago.

Shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Estonia) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked BC Rakvere (5-12) crushing them 103-77 in the Estonian Alexela KML on Friday night. Liutych scored 6 points. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (13-2) is placed second in the Alexela KML. It was his team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Liutych averaged so far 12.5ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.2apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Belarusian National Team roster.

International guard Roman Rubinshteyn (195-96, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider LTH Castings (1-17) crushing them 89-63 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Saturday night's game. Rubinshteyn scored only 2 points and added 3 passes in 21 minutes. Zlatorog Lasko (15-4) is placed first in the Liga Nova KBM. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Rubinshteyn's overall stats are: 1.6ppg and 1.2rpg in 16 games. He is also Belarusian national team player.

   #8. Power forward Maksim Salash (206-96, currently plays in Poland) contributed to an AZS Polfarmex's victory against the closely-ranked AZS Koszalin (6-14) 71-60 in the Polish PLK last Sunday. Salash scored 8 points. AZS Polfarmex Kutno (4-15) is placed 15th in the PLK. Salash's total stats this season are: 3.9ppg and 3.1rpg. He plays currently for the Belarusian national team.

Former international guard Valery Gandlin (192-86, currently plays in Israel) couldn't help Ironi Ramat Gan (2-16) in their game against Hasharon (7-7) in the Israeli National League (second division), despite his good performance on Tuesday night. Gandlin scored 12 points in 29 minutes. But the bottom-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan lost 72-78 in Ramat Hasharon to the much higher-ranked (#4) Hasharon. It was Ironi Ramat Gan's eighth consecutive loss in a row. Gandlin's stats this year are: 11.0ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.7apg in three games. He used to play for the Belarusian national team three years ago.

   #10. Center Vladzimir Krysevich (209-91, currently plays in Portugal) couldn't help Galitos-Barreiro (12-7) in their game against Ovarense (9-10) in the Portuguese LPB. Krysevich scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Galitos-Barreiro was defeated 94-90 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Ovarense (#8). It was Galitos-Barreiro's fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. Krysevich's total stats this season are: 3.0ppg and 2.1rpg. He is a former international player as four years ago he still played for the Belarusian senior national team.

   #11. U18 international power forward Denis Vikentsyeu (203-98, currently plays in Latvia) was the major contributor in a Ventspils Augstskola's victory against the ninth-ranked BJBS Riga crushing them 96-44 in the Latvian LBL2 (second division) last Thursday. Vikentsyeu scored 18 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 4 blocks in 23 minutes. Vikentsyeu has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 10.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg in 20 games. Vikentsyeu plays currently for the Belarusian U18 national team.

   #12. U18 international forward Yauhen Massalski (204-99, currently plays in Lithuania) contributed to an overtime Perlas-MRU's victory against the fourth-ranked Rasai 103-96 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) in Friday night's game. Massalski scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 23 minutes. This year Massalski's total stats are: 3.9ppg and 4.2rpg in 28 games. He is also in the roster of the Belarusian U18 national team.

   #13. U18 international guard Vlad Mikulskiy (192-98, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Denis Vikentsyeu. But that was another game of his team in Latvian LBL2 which we would like to mention. Mikulskiy couldn't help Ventspils Augstskola in their game against LU/BS Riga. He scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. His team was crushed by 35 points 92-57. Mikulskiy averaged so far 14.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 3.6apg and 2.9spg. He is also Belarusian U18 national team player.


One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Belarusian passport:

   #1. Vladislav Solopa (202-PF-95, currently plays in Romania) managed to help SCM CSU Craiova to win against the closely-ranked Targu Mures (9-10) 91-72 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. He scored 5 points and added 3 assists. SCM CSU Craiova (5-14) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the Liga Nationala. It was Craiova's first victory after six consecutive loses. Solopa's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Solopa's total stats this season are: 3.1ppg and 2.4rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Moldovan.

Tsmoki-Minsk claim ninth straight League title - 5 days ago
Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series. Semianiuk finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds to pace the winners. The centre was trumped the MVP. Tsmoki-Minsk recorded a 21:19 lead ten minutes into the game.
