The game in Brest was quite interesting. Sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (8-18) played at the court of 8th ranked Brest (4-22). BSEU-GrandPrint managed to secure a 9-point victory 72-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 38-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BSEU-GrandPrint made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Brest turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Sergej Vabischevich (191-88) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Vitaliy Lebedev (200-99) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Dmitriy Dmitruk (198-81) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Brest's coach Edward Vasiliuk rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BSEU-GrandPrint maintains sixth place with 8-18 record. Brest lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 22 games lost. BSEU-GrandPrint will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Guard Sergej Vabischevich (191-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
