The Regular Season in Premier League is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: BSEU-GrandPrint (#6) and Tsmoki II (#3). Tsmoki II was defeated at home 69-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tsmoki II won third quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BSEU-GrandPrint made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international Dmitri Paliashchuk (199-85, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Maksim Sazonau (202-96) chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Maksim Liutych (200-97) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Tsmoki II's coach Heorhi Kandrusevich rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BSEU-GrandPrint (12-18) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third place with ten games lost. BSEU-GrandPrint will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play on the road against the league's second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There was no surprise in Minsk where 9th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (3-25) was crushed by sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (12-18) 108-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. BSEU-GrandPrint led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to GOCOR-Sozh's 26. BSEU-GrandPrint forced 27 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by GOCOR-Sozh's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Dmitri Paliashchuk (199-85, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Sergej Vabischevich (191-88) who added 23 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four BSEU-GrandPrint players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Evgeniy Rybkin (195-96) scored 11 points. Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) confirmed in their roster 29-year old international forward Mikita Meshcharakou (201-104kg-88, college: Wake Forest). He played there last season. COR-Borisfen Mogilev (Premier League) hired 42-year old coach Andrei Krivonos from Tsmoki-Minsk. Krivonos has coached there for the last nine years. He helped them to win the cup. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Krivonos was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Coach of the Year back in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. Xuven Cambados (LEB Silver) landed 26-year old Belarusian center Vladzimir Krysevich (209-110kg-91). He played most recently at BSEU-GrandPrint in Belarusian Premier League.
