Gorizont cruised past Sozh-GGU in the opener. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Sozh-GGU's 36. Gorizont forced 24 Sozh-GGU turnovers and outrebounded them 41-21 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Gorizont especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sozh-GGU's players. Guard Tatsiana Tsyruliova (168-88) fired 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. The former international forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 17 points and 5 steals. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. Gorizont's coach Nataliya Trafimava felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Yulya Haponava (185-94) produced 22 points and 4 assists and guard Marina Rakovskaia (173-92) added 23 points respectively for lost side.

Tsmoki-Minsk - Olimpia 73-64

Tsmoki-Minsk held off Olimpia to gain the lead in the series. It looked good early as Olimpia took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tsmoki-Minsk had a 21-15 second period charge getting the lead and Olimpia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-73. Tsmoki-Minsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Viktoriya Hasper (193-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) contributed with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Natallia Dashkevich (188-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and international point guard Alena Holubeva (176-94) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Olimpia. Olimpia's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
