The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 3 rounds.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Mogilev. Second ranked host COR-Borisfen (26-2) defeated 3rd ranked Tsmoki II (18-12) 77-71. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. COR-Borisfen made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Tsmoki II turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Tsmoki II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Evgeni Ivanov (202-84) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Maksim Liutych (200-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Tsmoki II's coach Heorhi Kandrusevich rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. COR-Borisfen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 26-2 record behind leader Grodno-93. Tsmoki II lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with 12 games lost. COR-Borisfen are looking forward to face league's leader Grodno-93 at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tsmoki II will play against Prinemanye in Grodno and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
Premier League top team - Grodno-93 (27-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Impuls BGUIR (14-14) 101-82. The former international point guard Viachaslau Korzh (195-86) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Yuri Mishukov supported him with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Even 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists by the former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-86) did not help to save the game for Impuls BGUIR. Grodno-93 maintains first position with 27-3 record. Impuls BGUIR lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 14 games lost. Grodno-93 will play against league's second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Impuls BGUIR will play at home against Brest and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Brest supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Vitebsk (19-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Brest (4-26). Vitebsk smashed Brest 88-60 on Saturday. Ivan Aladko fired 31 points and 4 assists for the winners. Dmitriy Dmitruk produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Brest's coach Edward Vasiliuk gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Vitebsk have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Brest lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 26 games lost. They share it with GOCOR-Sozh. Vitebsk will meet at home bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Brest will play against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and hope to secure a win.
9th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (4-26) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Prinemanye (8-20) with the biggest margin this round 78-48. Worth to mention a great performance of Aliaksei Navoichyk who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. GOCOR-Sozh's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Prinemanye maintains seventh position with 8-20 record. GOCOR-Sozh at the other side stay dead last with 26 lost games. Prinemanye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Tsmoki II (#4) in Minsk and it may be quite challenging game. GOCOR-Sozh will play on the road against Vitebsk (#3) and hope to win that game.

Brest - Vitebsk 60-88

The game in Brest supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Vitebsk (19-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Brest (4-26). Vitebsk smashed Brest 88-60 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Vitebsk dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brest's 32. Vitebsk forced 19 Brest turnovers. Point guard Ivan Aladko (193-95) fired 31 points and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Armenian forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Dmitriy Dmitruk (198-81) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Sergey Moshko (185-90) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Brest players scored in double figures. Brest's coach Edward Vasiliuk gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Vitebsk have a solid four-game winning streak. 9th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (4-26) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Prinemanye (8-20) with the biggest margin this round 78-48. The game without a history. Prinemanye led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding GOCOR-Sozh to just 5 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. Prinemanye dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to GOCOR-Sozh's 18. Prinemanye forced 21 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Aliaksei Navoichyk (190-1) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Prinemanye players scored in double figures. Premier League top team - Grodno-93 (27-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Impuls BGUIR (14-14) 101-82. It looked good early as Impuls BGUIR took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Grodno-93 had a 33-19 second period charge getting the lead and Impuls BGUIR was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-101. Grodno-93 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Impuls BGUIR's 34. Grodno-93 forced 19 Impuls BGUIR turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Impuls BGUIR's players. The former international point guard Viachaslau Korzh (195-86) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international center Yuri Mishukov (205-85) supported him with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
