The Regular Season in Premier League just ended.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked COR-Borisfen (29-3) in Mogilev on Friday night. Hosts were edged by sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (13-19) 78-76. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 40-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BSEU-GrandPrint forced 19 COR-Borisfen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Dmitri Paliashchuk (199-85, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Sergej Vabischevich (191-88) contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for COR-Borisfen. BSEU-GrandPrint have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 13-19 record. COR-Borisfen at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.
Seventh-ranked Prinemanye (8-23) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Impuls BGUIR (17-14) in Minsk. Impuls BGUIR managed to secure only one-point victory 57-56. However their fans expected easier game. Guard Kiril Volodkin (190-91) stepped up and scored 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Yaraslau Kurapau chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Impuls BGUIR's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) responded with 16 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Impuls BGUIR. They maintain fifth place with 17-14 record. Prinemanye lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 23 games lost.

It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of BSEU-GrandPrint. Maksym Kozlovets nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Stainslau Ulyanka came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds for BSEU-GrandPrint in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. COR-Borisfen maintains first place with 29-3 record. Loser BSEU-GrandPrint keeps the sixth position with 19 games lost.

The most impressive performance of 37th round was 8 points and 9 rebounds by Ruslan Kutskevich of Prinemanye.

COR-Borisfen - BSEU-GrandPrint 91-73

Premier League top team - COR-Borisfen (29-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (13-19) in Mogilev 91-73. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of BSEU-GrandPrint. The game was mostly controlled by COR-Borisfen. BSEU-GrandPrint managed to win fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. COR-Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to BSEU-GrandPrint's 30. COR-Borisfen forced 20 BSEU-GrandPrint turnovers and outrebounded them 43-24 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. COR-Borisfen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Stainslau Ulyanka (194-99) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Ilyas Salsanov (198-89, college: Faulkner) added 14 points respectively for BSEU-GrandPrint in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. COR-Borisfen maintains first place with 29-3 record. Loser BSEU-GrandPrint keeps the sixth position with 19 games lost.

However their fans expected easier game. It looked good early as Prinemanye took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Impuls BGUIR had a 21-17 second period charge getting the lead and Prinemanye was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-57. Guard Kiril Volodkin (190-91) stepped up and scored 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and forward Yaraslau Kurapau (203-91) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Impuls BGUIR's coach used entire bench in such tough game.
