Here is the weekly review of the top performing Belarusian players, who play currently abroad.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#1. This week's number one is an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in VTB United League). He led his Russian team Unics Kazan to a victory over the closely-ranked VEF Riga (10-11) 86-82 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. Parakhouski was MVP of the game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. Unics Kazan (14-9) is placed fifth in the VTB United League. Parakhouski's team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Parakhouski has relatively good stats this year: 13.1ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 72.7%(117-161) and FT: 61.8% in 21 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Vitali Liutych
Vitali Liutych
#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Estonia). Liutych was the main contributor in Kalev/Cramo's victory against one of league's weakest teams BC Rakvere (9-23) crushing them 102-74 in the Estonian Alexela KML last Monday. He was the best player in that game. Liutych recorded 21 points. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (29-3) is placed third in the Alexela KML. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This season Liutych has relatively solid stats: 13.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 63.6%(56-88), 3FGP: 35.8% and FT: 77.1%. Ex-Tsmoki-Minsk player is in the roster of the Belarusian senior national team.

Maalik Wayns
Maalik Wayns
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Maalik Wayns (185-91, college: Villanova, currently plays in Israel). He could not help Maccabi Rishon (12-14) in their last game. Despite Wayns' good performance Maccabi Rishon was badly defeated 88-71 on the road by the higher-ranked (#5) Maccabi Haifa. He recorded 11 points in 25 minutes. Wayns has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.1apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 48.3%, 3FGP: 41.3% and FT: 73.7% in 16 games. Wayns is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA U18 national team, Wayns is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Belarus.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#4. An experienced forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Brose Baskets in their game against Galatasaray (11-19) in the Euroleague. Veremeenko scored only 4 points. Brose Baskets was defeated 84-79 in Istanbul by the higher-ranked Galatasaray (#12). The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. It's Veremeenko's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 2.2ppg and 1.4rpg. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He used to play for the Belarusian national team back in 2007.

Valery Gandlin
Valery Gandlin
#5. Former international guard Valery Gandlin (192-86, currently plays in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the second-ranked Hap.Haifa (10-16) crushing them 102-71 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday. Gandlin scored 16 points in 25 minutes. Ironi Ramat Gan (4-22) is placed sixth in Play-Downs group. Gandlin has reliable stats this year: 13.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.2apg in 11 games. He used to play for the Belarusian national team three years ago.

Anton Astapkovich
Anton Astapkovich
#6. Forward Anton Astapkovich (202-94, currently plays in VTB United League) was not able to secure a victory for Avtodor (7-14) in their game against Lokomotiv (15-5) in the VTB United League. Astapkovich did not beat the league record on Monday evening. He scored only 2 points. Avtodor was badly defeated 79-61 in Kuban by the higher-ranked Lokomotiv (#4). There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Astapkovich's overall stats this season are: 1.4ppg and 1.8rpg. He is a former U18 international player as he played for the Belarusian team six years ago.

Maksim Salash
Maksim Salash
#7. International power forward Maksim Salash (206-96, currently plays in Poland) couldn't help Polfarmex (5-23) in their game against Trefl (15-13) in the Polish PLK. Salash cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points and had 3 steals. Polfarmex was badly defeated 75-59 in Sopot by the much higher-ranked Trefl (#9). It was Polfarmex's ninth consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Salash's overall stats this season are: 4.8ppg and 3.2rpg. He is also Belarusian national team player.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Belarusian passport:

#1. Vladislav Solopa (202-PF-95, currently plays in Romania). Solopa could not help Craiova (8-16) to beat UBT Cluj Napoca (24-4). He recorded 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. But the second-placed Craiova (8-16) was crushed 100-74 on the road by the leading UBT Cluj Napoca in the Places 7-10 group. This year Solopa's overall stats are: 3.7ppg and 2.6rpg in 22 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Moldovan. Despite Solopa's Belarusian passport, he previously played for the Moldovan U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Belarusian team.

Other top Belarusian players, who play abroad:

Roman Rubinshteyn (195-G-96) plays for Zlatorog in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM
Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-SF-85) plays for Falco KC in Hungarian A Division
Valentin Iurchik (210-C/F-87) plays for Ryazan in Russian Superleague 1
Kiryl Dziatchuk (202-F-98) plays for KK Warszawa in Polish 2Liga
Mikita Balaban (201-C/F-96) plays for KTU in Lithuanian NKL
Yauhen Massalski (204-F-99) plays for Perlas-MRU in Lithuanian NKL
Yevgeni Lioutrine (200-C-88) plays for Maccabi K/M in Israeli Artzit
