We bring you last week's top performances from Belarusians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Vitali Liutych
Vitali Liutych
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92, currently plays in Estonia). He led Kalev/Cramo to a victory over one of league's weakest teams BC Rakvere (9-23) crushing them 102-74 in the Estonian Alexela KML in Monday night's game. Liutych was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points in 29 minutes on the court. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (29-3) is placed third in the Alexela KML. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. Liutych has relatively good stats this year: 12.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 62.4%(58-93), 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 77.1% in 18 games he played so far. Ex-Tsmoki-Minsk player is currently a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Vladimir Veremeenko
Vladimir Veremeenko
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84, currently plays in Germany). He contributed to a Brose Baskets' victory against the 14th-ranked Walter Tigers (9-23) 87-75 in the German BBL last Thursday. Veremeenko scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Brose Baskets Bamberg (27-3) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Veremeenko's first season with the team. This year he averages: 5.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2FGP: 71.7%(33-46) and FT: 61.1%. Veremeenko has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Russian. He played for the Belarusian national team in 2007.

Artsiom Parakhouski
Artsiom Parakhouski
#3. The Belarusian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford, currently plays in VTB United League). Parakhouski helped his Russian team Unics Kazan win their game against the eighth-ranked Astana (9-15) 83-78 in the VTB United League on Thursday night. He scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in only 14 minutes. Unics Kazan (15-9) is placed fifth in group A. The Regular Season already ended in the VTB United League. This year Parakhouski has relatively solid stats: 12.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.3bpg, 2FGP: 73.2%(123-168) in 23 games. He is also a member of the Belarusian senior national team.

Valery Gandlin
Valery Gandlin
#4. Guard Valery Gandlin (192-86, currently plays in Israel) could not help Ironi Ramat Gan (4-22) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Gandlin's very good performance the sixth-placed Ironi Ramat Gan (4-22) was defeated 110-106 on the road by the higher-ranked Hapoel Migdal Haemek (#3) in the Play-Downs group. He was the top scorer with 28 points. Gandlin also added 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Gandlin has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 3.2rpg and 2.3apg. Gandlin used to play for the Belarusian national team back in 2014.

Aliaksandr Pustahvar
Aliaksandr Pustahvar
#5. International small forward Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to help Falco KC (19-11) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Falco KC (#3) was badly defeated 102-86 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Kormend in the Places 1-5 group. Pustahvar was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 5 passes in 28 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. Pustahvar has reliable stats this year: 12.2ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.6apg in 30 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Belarusian and Russian. Pustahvar plays currently for the Belarusian national team.

Anton Astapkovich
Anton Astapkovich
#6. Forward Anton Astapkovich (202-94, currently plays in VTB United League) was not able to secure a victory for Avtodor (7-15) in their game against Enisey (13-10) in the VTB United League. He scored only 4 points. Avtodor (#10) was defeated 97-92 in Krasnoyarsk by the higher-ranked Enisey (#6) in the group A of VTB United League. There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Astapkovich's overall stats this season are: 1.5ppg and 1.7rpg. He is a former U18 international player as he played for the Belarusian team six years ago.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Belarusian passport:

#1. Vladislav Solopa (202-PF-95, currently plays in Romania). Solopa could not help Craiova (8-16) to beat UBT Cluj Napoca (24-4). He recorded 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. But Craiova (#2) was crushed 100-74 on the road by the leading UBT Cluj Napoca in the Places 7-10 group. This year Solopa's overall stats are: 3.9ppg and 2.6rpg in 23 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Belarusian and Moldovan. Despite Solopa's Belarusian passport, he previously played for the Moldovan U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Belarusian team.
