Tomas Van Den Spiegel (214-C-78) played his first game for Real Madrid today. Real with the Belgian center won over Manresa in the Spanish competitition: 83-56.
Van den Spiegel played almost 19 minutes, scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, what will be his major task in the top Spanish team. Axel Hervelle (205-F-83), the other Real's Belgian star, did not play against Manresa. Hervelle was operated after the game against Regal FC Barcelona on December 20th. Axel Hervelle got injured (broken nose) in a contact with his Real mate Felipe Reyes at the end of the Spanish Clasico which ended on the 87-67 score for Barcelona last week. Hervelle now trains again and should be back on the court for the competition in the next few weeks.

Van den Spiegel left a good impression after Real's game against Manresa today.
