Spirou Charleroi celebrated 14-point home win against Optima Gent improving on 10-2 record in D1. Jerry Johnson and Wess Wilkinson top-scored for the winners with 18 points apiece. Len Matela helped with 14 points and 9 boards. On the other side, Brandon Freeman netted 22 points for Gent, who dropped on 3-10.

Nice road victory for Dexia Mons-Hainaut, who remains on top of D1 with 11-2. Charleroi is on the second place with 10-2.

Verviers-Pep. - Antwerp 95-93 VOO Verviers-Pepinster escaped with a tiny home win against the Antwerp Diamond Giants thanks to Adrian Banks (191-G, college: NW Mississippi CC) and his 31 points. Bryan Hopkins shined in defeat with 27 pts and 4 rebounds. Pepinster now has 3-10 (same as Gent) while Antwerp fell on 7-6.
Liege - Leuven 84-67 Important victory for the hosts as both teams entered into this round with the same 4-7 record. Christopher Hill stepped up for Liege nailing 20 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. James JJ Miller was the leading player in Spoter Leuven with 22 pts.

Tomas Van Den Spiegel (214-C-78) played his first game for Real Madrid today. Real with the Belgian center won over Manresa in the Spanish competitition: 83-56.
Van den Spiegel played almost 19 minutes, scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, what will be his major task in the top Spanish team. Axel Hervelle (205-F-83), the other Real's Belgian star, did not play against Manresa. Hervelle was operated after the game against Regal FC Barcelona on December 20th.

Tomas Van Den Spiegel (214-C-78) played his first game for Real Madrid today. Real with the Belgian center won over Manresa in the Spanish competitition: 83-56. Van den Spiegel played almost 19 minutes, scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, what will be his major task in the top Spanish team. Axel Hervelle (205-F-83), the other Real's Belgian star, did not play against Manresa. Hervelle was operated after the game against Regal FC Barcelona on December 20th. Axel Hervelle got injured (broken nose) in a contact with his Real mate Felipe Reyes at the end of the Spanish Clasico which ended on the 87-67 score for Barcelona last week. Hervelle now trains again and should be back on the court for the competition in the next few weeks.
Van den Spiegel left a good impression after Real's game against Manresa today.
