Brandon Gay
28-year old forward Brandon Gay (203-F-82), agency: Edge Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Antwerp Giants and it's enough to give him a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 30.
He had the game-high 29 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for his team's victory, helping them to beat Oostende (#4, 15-12) 90-85. Despite this victory Antwerp dropped to the 5th position in Belgian league. Antwerp is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-13 record. In the team's last game Gay had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Antwerp, through which he has constantly improved. Brandon Gay averages this season 10.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Will Thomas (201-F-86), agency: Interperformances) of top-ranked Belgacom Liege Basket. He is American forward in his second season at Liege. In the last game Thomas recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. It was enough for Liege to edge the lower-ranked Aalstar (#6, 14-13) by 5 points 79-74. Of course Liege still keep league's top spot. His team has 19-8 record is not bad at all. Thomas is well-known at Liege and he already established his position as the team's leader. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.8ppg (#6). He also registered 9.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Brent Wright (203-F/C-78), agency: ASM Sports) of league's second-best TEC Spirou Charleroi. Wright showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Charleroi, leading his team to a 83-70 easy win against the lower-ranked M.Hainaut (#7, 11-16). Charleroi needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 9 lost games. Wright has a very solid season. In 2 games in Belgium he scored 12.0ppg.
