Turkey bounced back after the loss in Day 1, edged Belgium in Bamberg at the BEKO-Supercup. The Turkish side needed 66:60 for 1-1 record, while Belgium fell at 0-2. Turkey took the lead in the first period and reached 17:13 at the end of it. Enes Kanter (208-C-92, college: Kentucky) scored for 25:17 and Omer Asik (213-C-86) brought 29:24. Onan later sent the teams to the lockers for 36:28. The third period however belonged to Belgium. Trailing 10 points in the start of it, they erupted with 12-2 run and Beghin tied the game at 45:45. Moreover Muya and Oveneke continued the run for 49:45 and Beghin closed the period at 51:47. Ilyasova made it 58:58 midway through the last period and Hervelle scored for 63:60. Semih Erden (211-C-87) and Tunceri scored the last points for the winners from the free throw line to seal the victory. Omer Asik paced all the winners with 12 points and Ersan Ilyasova (207-F-87) followed him with 11. Semih Erden notched 9, while Enes Kanter scored 7. Jonathan Tabu (190-PG-85) responded with 11 points in defeat, whilst Christophe Beghin (207-F-80, agency: Court Side) and Didier Didier Mbenga (214-C-80)-Illunga posted 10 each.

Okapi Aalstar have extended the contract with John Tofi (203-F/C-84, college: UTEP). The Samoan centre will enter his second straight season with the team. This current season John Tofi notched 12.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in the EuroChallenge. He also tallies 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per appearance in the Ethias League. Previously John Tofi played for Leuven Bears and Pepinster. Swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Jerome Randle (178-87, college: California) added 14 points in the effort for Spirou Charleroi. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aalstar shot down Oostende on the road to gain the lead in the series. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-84. Okapi Aalstar made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Base Oostende helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Ryan Thompson (198-89, college: Rider) fired 28 points for the winners. His fellow American import Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists. Four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. American guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) produced 32 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Serbian-Montenegrin guard Dusan Djordjevic (195-83, agency: Beo Basket) added 17 points respectively for lost side.
