Besides Braine two more teams made roster changes. Spirou Monceau saw April Phillips (183-F-87, college: Xavier) replace Julia Demirer who is headed to the Czech Republic to play for Karlin. Philiips started this season in Finland where she played for Kotka. She only played 3 games there and averaged 7.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg. She previously played In Israel for Elitzur Rishon Le Zion where her averages were 11.3 ppg and 9.2 rpg in 10 games.

Another new arrival at Dexia Namur who were informed by her agent that Ify Ebekwe was not going to come back to Belgium after the break. The team in the mean time has added Biljana Pavicevic (191-F-80) to their roster. Pavicevic spent quite a bit of time playing in Cyprus over her career. She played there for Limassol and Larnaca. Some of her other teams are Livorno, Minsk, Tarbes, Podgorica and Novi Sad.

Bad new for Optima Jeugd Gentson who lost yet another player to injury. Isabelle Degels (167-G-92) their lightning quick point guard suffered a serious knee injury in an exhibition game vs the Dutch National team and she could be out for 6 months.

Better news for Waregem who saw the return of their point guard, U18 National team member Julie Vanloo (171-PG-93).
