Kirby can play positions 1-3 but natural position is the 2-spot. She is a very tough and aggressive player on both offense and defense. She is one of the best little scrappy quick guards out there with a pair of quick hands. Kirby is a solid three-point shooter, has improve her three-point shot over the course of her career and also has a nice mid-range game, but her strength is getting to the basket and creating opportunities for others or herself. In 2008-2009 played for Challes-les-Eaux Basket (France-LFB, starting five) and in French League showed 7.8ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 42.1%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 56.5%. In another season for the French side she had 10.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.8apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 40.3%, 3PT: 16.7%, FT: 62.9% Last season Kirby Copeland joined Catz Lappeenranta (Finland-SM-sarja, starting five) and in 30 games had high 15.9ppg, 7.9rpg, Assists-3 (2.9apg), Steals-1 (2.9spg), FGP: 46.7%, FT: 66.7%.

Belgium continue Eurobasket 2013 preparation. After the loss from Serbia, Belgium was defeated by Slovenia, but tonight overcame Luxembourg.
Slovenia won over Belgium 67:62. The latter started with 19-14 lead and led 10 points at the halftime. The third quarter however was decisive in the game when Slovenia grabbed a 51:50 lead with 10 minutes to go. The Belgian side led 45:30 at the halftime and then erupted with a 41-7 in the second half.

Belgium U16 comes back from Luxembourg. The Junior national Team posted only one victory and finished on the last place.
France U16 wins Dussmann Trophy that took place from 18th-20th May in Luxembourg. The French side posted three victories and clinched the top place.
In Day 1 France U16 overcame Belgium U16 63:46. Omella Bankole top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Alix Duchet added 16. Belgium's top scorers are Fauve Bastiaenssens and Serena Lyn-Geldof with 9 points each [read more]
