Great Britain played their last preparation game before the start of Olympic Games basketball tournament. Great Britain faced Belgium in Antwerp. The hosts claimed a confident victory. Maxime De Zeeuw (205-PF-87) knocked down 15 points to lead the charge. Belgium secured a confident start. They built a 21:15 lead at the first break. The Lions boosted the lead in the second quarter. They secured a 39:24 halftime advantage. Belgium stayed in charge throughout the third term. They arrived at the final intermission up by 21 points 58:37. The Lions outscored their opponents in the final frame and sealed a comfortable victory at the end. Sam Van Rossom (188-G-86) provided 13 points for Belgium. Beye Tabu-Eboma (190-PG-85) had 11 points in the victory. Pops Mensah-Bonsu (206-F-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: G.Washington) answered with 18 points for Great Britain. Belgacom Spirou brings in Serbian center Nemanja Besovic (221-C-92, agency: Interperformances) for 2013/2014 season. The 21-year old Serbian center will play next season in Belgium.
He won Serbian League championship title for two years in a row (2011 and 2012). Besovic represented Serbia at the European Championships U20 in Slovenia last year. Libert was also a member of various Belgian National teams among other the U18 and U20 teams. In 2009 he played for the U20 team during the European Championship and averaged 10.3ppg and 3.5 rpg in 6 games. This past season he played 24 games for Befius with averages of 2.8ppg and 1.1apg in 10.9 mpg.
Another relative newcomer to Pepinster is former Pepinster and National team player Christian Lemaire who returns to the team this time as team manager.
Stella Artois Leuven Bears has reached an agreement with point guard Tu Holloway (182-G-89, college: Xavier) to join the 2013-2014 roster. Tu played college at Xavier where he played his last season during the 11-12 season. During that season he averaged 17.5 ppg, 4.8apg and 3.6 rpg. He is also a proficient free throw shooter at 86.2 pct.

Was selected to the Atlantic 10 1st team during his junior and senior years. Also earned All Defensive team in 2011. He played the past season in Turkey for Aliaga. In 17 games he averaged 5.8ppg 1.8rpg and 1.6apg while playing 17.0 mpg.
Earlier the team also announced that forward Bradford Burgess (198-G/F-90, college: VCU) has extended his contract for the 2013-2014 season.
