Gent Dragons play two friendlies in their pre-season action. The Belgian side was not upset with two losses.
In Game 1 University of Colorado beat Gent Dragons 91:63. Josh Scott scored a game-high 19 points leading the University of Colorado, while Andre Roberson (201-F-91) add 15 points and 14 rebounds, Askia Booker (185-G-93) chip-in with 18 points and six assists, and Chris Jenkins and Xavier Johnson (198-F) adding 12 and 10 points, respectively. Thomas Van De Vondel (197-F/G-80) led Optima Ghent with 19 points.
In Game 2 Denain ASC Voltaire beat Gent Dragons 83:55. HUMPHREY Chris top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Marcus Kitts (205-C/F-89, college: William & Mary) netted 16. Thomas Van De Vondel responded with 16 points in the losing effort and Mukole Thsimuanga Kandi posted 13.
Liege Basket meanwhile will play against Ninane tomorrow, while on the first day of September they will take on French Le Portel (Pro B).

Belgium - Italy 80-60 Jean Salumu (193-F-90) led Belgium over Italy in Day 2 of the International Tournament in Toulouse. He scored 19 points as Belgium celebrated a comfortable 80-60 win. Denain ASC Voltaire (ProB) landed 24-year old American swingman Yunio Barrueta (198-102kg-93, college: Barry). He played most recently at Crelan Okapi Aalstar in Belgian Euromillions League.
