Belfius Mons-Hainaut and Justin Cage (198-F-85, agency: Priority Sports, college: Xavier) have agreed on terms of contract extension. The forward signed a new one-year deal with the team. Justin Cage joined Mons-Hainaut back in 2009. He tallied 11.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game this season. Some time ago Excelsion Brussels received their license to play the 2013-2014 in the Ethias League. Today the team announced part of their roster for next season. Most of the players are new for the team now called Brussels Basketball. Besides the earlier announced Brandon Ubel, the team's other foreign players are Canadian Stephen Ross (201-G/F-80, agency: Court Side, college: Santa Clara) and Senegalese Ahmet Gueye (203-C/F-82, college: Hawaii) who most recently played for Waregem. New to the team are former Gembo players Nick Celis (194-G-88) and Eurobasket's D2 player of the year Domien Loubry (186-G-85). Maxime Verspeeten (192-SG-94), Ludovic Pourtoit (182-G-88), Geoffrey Hockins (188-PG-88), Maxime Depuydt (192-F-92), Toly Kazakis are the other names released by the team. They also announced to still be negotiating with a small forward and want to add another power forward and one player with dual affiliation. Ross is a Canadian with lots of European experience having played before in Levallois, Leiden, Groningen and most recently Craiova and Cluj Napoca in Rumania. This past season in Rumania he averaged 11.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg. The team will still be coached by Serge Crevecoeur
