27-year old guard Kirby Copeland (182-G-85, agency: LBM Management) had an amazing evening for Castors Braine and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.
She had a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Jeugd Gentson (0-1) with 26-point margin 65-39. Copeland turned to be Castors Braine's top player in her first season with the team.

Second best performed player was Dana Boonen (195-C-79) of Kangoeroes-B.. She is former international center in her 3rd season at Kangoeroes-B.. In the last game Boonen recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Se led Kangoeroes-B. to comfortable win outscoring Tulikivi Deerlijk (0-1) 76-51.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Melissa Dennett (188-F-83) of Waregem. Dennett scored 20 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Waregem, leading her team to a 63-61 win against Sint Katelijne (0-1).
