The game between second ranked Spirou Charleroi (4-3) and seventh ranked Leuven Bears (2-5) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Spirou Charleroi trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 30-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-88 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for international point guard Niels Marnegrave (191-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. American swingman Bradford Burgess (198-90, college: VCU, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds.
