Belfius Namur forced 22 Blue Cats turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. American swingman Julie Wojta (183-G/F-89, agency: LBM Management, college: Wisc.-Green Bay) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international center Laurence Van Malderen (192-81, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Bulgarian center Stefka Miteva (190-89) with 21 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Belfius Namur have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Kangoeroes-B. Defending champion Blue Cats dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Houthalen. Belfius Namur is looking forward to face Tulikivi (#10) in Deerlijk in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
