Okapi Aalstar capped their EuroChallenge regular season campaign with victory. They knocked down Paris Levallois on the road to improve at 4-2 record in Group E. Ryan Thompson (198-G-89, college: Rider) and John Tofi (203-F/C-84, college: UTEP) finished with 23 points each to pace the visitors. Both teams advanced into the next round of action.
Okapi Aalstar ensured a quick start. They fired 27 points in the opening quarter to take an 11-point lead after ten minutes. Paris Levallois stopped the rot in the second frame. The French team cut the deficit at 4-point mark at halftime 39:43. Okapi Aalstar dropped 26 points in the third quarter to stay in front. The Belgian outfit entered the fourth term up by 8 points. They stretched the gap in the final period and rolled to the victory at the end. Jason Clark (188-G-90, college: Georgetown) finished with 17 points, 6 assists and 4 boards for the visitors. Jawad Williams (204-F-83, college: N.Carolina) answered with 17 points for Paris Levallois. Sean May (206-F-84, college: N.Carolina) topscored with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in defeat.
