#3. The Belgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Jonathan Tabu (184-85, currently plays in Italy). Tabu managed to help Mapooro Cantu in a victory against the ninth-ranked Trenkwalder RE (6-7) crushing them 86-64 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday.
He recorded 5 points and added 4 assists in 21 minutes.
Mapooro Cantu (9-4) is placed fourth in the SerieA.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Tabu has relatively good stats this year: 10.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.0apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 53.3%, 3FGP: 45.1%(23-51) and FT: 91.3%(21-23) in the 13 games.
He is also a member of the Belgian senior national team.
#4. Forward Axel Hervelle (205-83, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Sam Van Rossom in the Spanish ACB last game.
Hervelle, who plays in the Spanish ACB could not help Gescrap BB (10-5) to beat CAI Zaragoza (9-6).
He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Gescrap BB was defeated 81-74 on the road by the lower-ranked CAI Zaragoza (#6).
Hervelle's overall stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.7apg.
He is also Belgian national team player.
#5. Former U20 international swingman Gael Hulsen (193-90, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in United Kingdom), who plays in the British BBL was not able to help the league outsider Liverpool Mersey Tigers (0-16) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Liverpool Mersey Tigers was crushed 96-65 in Manchester by the higher-ranked Giants (#10).
Hulsen was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 assists.
This season Hulsen has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.8apg.
He used to play for the Belgian U20 national team
three years ago.
#6. Point guard Retin Obasohan (185-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the Alabama in their game against the Tulane University (0-0) in the NCAA. Obasohan cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
He scored only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court.
The Alabama was edged 53-50 at home by the Tulane University.
Obasohan has reliable stats this year: 11.5ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.8apg in the 15 games.
He is U20 international player who is currently on the Belgian National Team roster.

Horford helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Central Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals. He was called during the season by the Milwaukee Bucks. Horford has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015. His team won Big Ten Regular Season in 2014. Horford has played previously professionally in Dominican Rep. and Dominican Republic (Indios de San Francisco). He attended University of Florida until 2015 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.

It should be a nice occasion for Belgian basketball fans to attend high-level basketball games at the Complexe sportif in Neder-over-Heembeek, in the Brussels area. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt will most probably come to the Belgian capital with their new German center Daniel Mayr (217-C-95), arriving from Bayern Munich, and their Canadian guard Philip Scrubb (190-G-92), who previously played for AEK Athens. KK Cibona VIP Zagreb, the club of former superstar Drazen Petrovic and many other Yugoslav legends like Kresimir Cosic or Danko Cvjeticanin, should also come to Brussels with an impressive roster, including Zagreb-born Zeljko Sakic (204-F-88, agency: BeoBasket) who just returns from Rio where he played for Croatia in the Olympics as well as Emir Sulejmanovic (204-F/C-95) who has been included on the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team this summer.
