Brent Wright
Experienced American Brent Wright (203-F/C-78) had an amazing evening in the last round for Oostende and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 34-year old power forward had the game-high 22 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Oostende in his team's victory, helping them to beat Leuven (#7, 3-8) 84-73. Oostende maintains the 3rd position in Belgian Ethias League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Oostende will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Wright had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Oostende and it's hard to imagine this team without him. University of Florida graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wright is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 6.2rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old DR Congolese forward Wen Boss Mukubu (198-F-83, agency: SportsTalent) of Liege. Mukubu impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Liege to edge slightly lower-ranked Verviers-Pep. (#8, 2-8) by 2 points 78-76. Liege's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Mukubu is a newcomer at Liege and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.4ppg (#3). He also registered 6.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Brian Qvale (210-C-88) of top-ranked M.Hainaut. Qvale scored 12 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of M.Hainaut, leading his team to a 96-73 easy win against #2 ranked Aalstar in a game of the week. M.Hainaut confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 3 lost games. Qvale has a great season in Belgium. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 60.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Josh Bostic (196-F-87) of M.Hainaut - 28 points and 4 rebounds
5. Jerome Randle (178-PG-87) of Spirou - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists
6. Wesley Wilkinson (207-PF-84) of Oostende - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Derek Raivio (190-G-84) of Aalstar - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Gary Ware (205-F/C-83) of Liege - 18 points and 5 rebounds
9. Chris Ferguson (206-C-89) of Verviers-Pep. - 16 points and 6 rebounds
10. Jason Love (206-F/C-87) of Antwerp - 11 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
