EWE Baskets posts three digit-number in Belgium to beat Aalstar. The German side destroyed the home side 103:80 for 3-0 record in Group L. The game was mostly controlled by EWE Baskets. Okapi Aalstar was better in second period 31-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. EWE Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Okapi Aalstar's players. It was a great evening for Julius Jenkins (187-PG-81, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Georgia South) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. Dru Joyce (183-PG-85, college: Akron) helped adding 16 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was Ryan Thompson (198-G-89, college: Rider) with 23 points and 6 assists and Thomas Dreesen (199-F-88, agency: Court Side) scored 17 points. Royal Aera Excelsior Brussels (Division II) inked 22-year old American forward Brandon Ubel (208-106kg-91). He just graduated from Nebraska (NCAA). In 31 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.6apg this season. The last season Ubel also at the University of Nebraska in Big Ten Conference in the NCAA. In 30 games he averaged 6.7ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3apg.

He averaged 9.9 points, 5.0 rebounds per game in 2012/13 season. Previously Stephane Moris had stints in Switzerland, Germany.
