Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Belgians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced international swingman Anke De Mondt (175-79, currently plays in Poland). She led Wisla Can-Pak to a victory over the closely-ranked Energa Torun (11-5) crushing them 77-57 in the Polish PLKK in Saturday night's game. De Mondt was MVP of the game. She scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (13-3) is placed third in the PLKK. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. De Mondt has relatively good stats this year: 11.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.7apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 47.3%, 3FGP: 39.3% and FT: 94.4%(17-18) in the 16 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Belgian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international guard Kathy Wambe (176-81, currently plays in Italy). Wambe contributed to a 3-point Familia Schio's victory against the closely-ranked Taranto (9-4) 74-71 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. She recorded 7 points and added 4 passes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Famila Wuber Schio (12-1) is placed first in the A1. It was her team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. It's Wambe's first season with the team. Wambe is currently first on the league's list of best passers. This season she averages: 6.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.0apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 37.7% and FT: 63.4%. Wambe played for the Belgian national team in 2010.

The Belgian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Galatasaray (13-3) to beat Kayseri (13-3). Wauters recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 16 minutes. Galatasaray lost 68-72 on the road to the second-ranked Kayseri. They ended the series of four consecutive victories. This year Wauters has relatively solid stats: 13.6ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 55.6%(89-160) and FT: 74.3% in the 15 games. She played for the Belgian national team three years ago.

Center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a Villeneuve D'Ascq's surprising victory against the fourth-ranked Lyon (11-7) 74-61 in the French LFB in Saturday night's game. Meesseman scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Villeneuve D'Ascq ESB Lille Metropole (7-11) is placed 11th in the LFB. Meesseman has reliable stats this season: 12.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg. She is also Belgian national team player.

Former international shooting guard Kim Mestdagh (179-90, also represented by LBM Management, college: Colorado St., currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Caja Rural (6-8) in their game against Argon Uni Girona (9-4) in the Spanish LFB. Mestdagh scored 5 points in 17 minutes. Caja Rural lost 65-77 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Argon Uni Girona. It was Caja Rural's fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Mestdagh's overall stats are: 6.8ppg and 3.2rpg in the 14 games. She used to play for the Belgian national team two years ago.

Royal Castors Braine (Top Division Women) agreed terms with 23-year old Latvian guard Ance Aizsila (178-94). She started the season at RSU-Merks in Latvian NBL league. In 12 games she had very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.3apg, 1.8spg and 2.5bpg this season. R.Spirou Monceau Charleroi (Top Division Women) tabbed 26-year old American center Alexandra Stelfox (187-91, college: Grand Valley State). She played most recently at ViVe in Finnish SM-sarja. In 15 games she averaged 12.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg in 2014-15 season.
