Belgium U16 comes back from Luxembourg. The Junior national Team posted only one victory and finished on the last place.
France U16 wins Dussmann Trophy that took place from 18th-20th May in Luxembourg. The French side posted three victories and clinched the top place.

France U16 wins Dussmann Trophy that took place from 18th-20th May in Luxembourg. The French side posted three victories and clinched the top place. In Day 1 France U16 overcame Belgium U16 63:46. Omella Bankole top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Alix Duchet added 16. Belgium's top scorers are Fauve Bastiaenssens and Serena Lyn-Geldof with 9 points each. Luxembourg surprised Belgium 49:41. It was the initial win for the hosts, but the victory allowed them to take the final second spot later at the tournament. In Day 3 Belgium overcame Slovakia 59:54, but finished last. Both teams as well as Luxembourg finished with 1-2 record.

Laurence Van Malderen (192-C-81, agency: LBM Management) remain with the Belgian Champions for the next season. The Center will enter her fourth season with Belfius Namur.
Together with Belfius Namur in April Laurence Van Malderen celebrated D1 title. They overcame Kangoeroes-Boom 62:61 in the decisive third game of the title series. Laurence Van Malderen chipped in 14 points in the winning effort.

Only this year she was named Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention and became Belgian League Regular Season Champion . She was named Eurobasket.com Belgian League All-Domestic Players Team -13 and became Belgian League Champion -13. Moreover Laurence Van Malderen was Belgian Cup Winner -13 with her team.

Serbia edge Belgium in Kranjska Gora on Tuesday. The team posted a 85:74 win after a loss from Slovak Republic on Monday.
Serbian team dominated the first half and started the game with a 25-16 lead. They added 24-19 rally in the second quarter and enjoyed 14-point halftime advantage.
