The most exciting game of round 20 in the Euromillions League took place in Brussels. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Spirou Charleroi (11-9) to fourth ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (11-9) 65-64 in the game for the third place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Spirou Charleroi. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jeremy Simmons (204-89, college: Charleston) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The former international point guard Niels Marnegrave (191-87, agency: Promotex) responded with 5 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Spirou Charleroi's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Basic-Fit Brussels moved-up to third place, which they share with Spirou. Basic-Fit Brussels is looking forward to face league's leader Oostende on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spirou Charleroi will play against Limburg United and is hoping to win this game.
Euromillions League top team - Oostende (16-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat ninth ranked Leuven Bears (6-14) 87-70. The winners were led by international forward Pierre-Antoine Gillet (201-91) who scored that evening 14 points and Rasko Katic supported him with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 14 points and 4 assists by American guard Korey Billbury (193-93, college: VCU) did not help to save the game for Leuven Bears. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oostende have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-4 record. Leuven Bears at the other side keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. Oostende will play against Basic-Fit Brussels (#4) at home in the next round. Leuven Bears will play against the league's second-placed Antwerp Giants (#2) and hope to get back on the winning track.
The game in Jemappes was also quite interesting. Second ranked Antwerp Giants (13-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (8-12). Antwerp Giants defeated Belfius Mons-Hainaut 70-54 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Jason Clark who scored 21 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Idris Lasisi produced 8 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Antwerp Giants maintains second position with 13-7 record having just three points less than leader Oostende. Belfius Mons-Hainaut lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 12 games lost. Antwerp Giants will meet at home Leuven Bears (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Kangoeroes in Willebroek and hope to secure a win.
The game in Willebroek was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Okapi Aalstar (10-11) played at the court of sixth ranked Kangoeroes (10-10). Kangoeroes defeated Okapi Aalstar 85-73. Wesley Channels orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Kangoeroes' coach Daniel Goethals allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Kangoeroes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Limburg United. Okapi Aalstar lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Kangoeroes' next round opponent will be Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) in Jemappes. Okapi Aalstar will play at home against Liege Basket and hope to win that game.

Limburg United have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kangoeroes. Liege Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Limburg United will face higher ranked Spirou Charleroi (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Liege Basket will play against Okapi Aalstar (#7) and hope to win that game.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 14 points and 4 assists by Corey Hawkins of Antwerp.

Liege - Limburg United 73-91

10th ranked Liege Basket (6-15) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Limburg United (10-10) with the biggest margin this round 91-73 on Wednesday night. Limburg United had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Benjamin Simons (203-91, college: Drake) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Seth Tuttle (203-92, college: N.Iowa) who added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Point guard Yoann Hertay (186-90) responded with 19 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and American point guard Vincent Simpson (185-88, college: Hampton, agency: Promotex) scored 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Limburg United have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Naturalized French swingman Anthony Chada (196-89) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Kangoeroes' coach Daniel Goethals allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (192-89, agency: LBM Management) added 18 points in the effort for Okapi Aalstar. France - Belgium 85-60 France overcame Belgium at the start of the home International Tournament. France had a slow start, but came up with a massive 85-60 win. Belgium grabbed a 21-13 lead at the start of the game, but could not match the hosts in the rest of the game. France replied with a 22-9 surge to take a 35-32 half-time advantage. Crelan Okapi Aalstar (Euromillions League) agreed terms with 23-year old Armenian international forward Andrew Chrabascz (203-93kg-94). Chrabascz is a dual citizen owning also American passport.
